  • Now that's what I call drumming.

  • This is my go to song whenever I'm feeling down. And always reminds me of spring and just running around in the open field, much like the music video for this song.

    p.s. björk is the greatest!

  • The whole Iceland is in the audience.

  • happy people singing something i dont undrstnd, but it feels so right!

  • 3:34 is pure joy

  • This is awesome. Even though I have no idea what they're saying.

  • ...bißchen verrückt diese Isländer.........wundervoll!

  • One of the things I love about these guys is that you don't have to speak Icelandic to get the feel and message of the music.

  • The whole population of island was gathered for this?! Kisses from sverige!

  • jonsi has some freaky eyes. I love it.

  • @jockynerd0201 He's blind in one eye.

  • I want a huge drum and shout LA LA LA LA like crazy. This vid is a energy rush to the soul... How I would have loved to be there, jumping and screaming with them. Rarely can we see such amount of shared joy. Right now I would love to hug them all and give them thanks for making me feel so happy and alive. Sigur Rós is pure magic.TAKK FYRIR!!

  • los 2 mejores grupos para mi de la historia sigur ros y bjork

  • @MrHunterX con tu lengua madre no hubiera costado trabajo honorarlos escribiendo el acento en Rós y el diéresis en Björk.

  • Jonsi is so adorable from 03:38 onwards

  • Awesome. Although Björk should have sung as well

  • @MightyQuinn2021 yeah dude she'd be great for this song. half the reason i watched was cuz i wanted to see what they would do together.

  • Oh no!

    The confetti malfunctioned!

  • @johnnypeebles but the song was flawless :D

  • as i listen to this all i can do is smile

  • I recommend Of Monsters and Men... another great Icelandic band!!

  • I dont know why the people is so critic about a person's physical appearance, thats the kind of people that make this world a bad place,Jonsi seems like a great human being.

  • GREATEST FRICKIN' BAND EVER!!! How can you NOT love these amazing people?!

  • everyone is bashing on the drums !! out of sync

  • 03:38 Priceless ♥

  • i wish i was icelandic...

  • Weirdest and greatest band ever. And greatest album cover hahahah

  • rocksmith brought me here...

  • @daSavage308 me too!

  • Sounds like something i would expect in a japanese anime. very upbeat and fun.

  • @c0rr0s10n Maybe that's why the album this is on is their biggest album in Japan.

  • Bjork looks like she is having a great time up there.

  • WHOOOAA!

Bjork AND Sigur Ros on the same stage! I always knew that they must've known each other. Both Icelandic. Making amazing music that destroys me.

  • This is happiness

  • I have no clue what they are singing about but its awesome!

  • bjork at 2:53

    soooo beautiful

  • is there something wrong with his eye?

  • I wish I could listen to this song once without knowing how to speak icelandic :)

  • @Arthnur It's amazing!!!! I refuse to know the translations to their songs.

  • @Arthnur It sounds amazing. I can't hear what english sounds like but I'm sure not as beautiful.

  • did jonsi just mention olafur arnalds in the beginning?

  • man Iceland knows how to make great music!

  • I <3 all of this!

  • It doesn't matter where I am, who I'm with or what I'm feeling, this song *always* makes me smile.

  • Nattura*

  • That's Amiina, on the top row.

  • Circus act. But a good circus act!

  • wack

  • Jónsi seems so happy .

  • @andremartins4 as does Bjork!

  • @ccm800 indeed. I only mentioned Jónsi, because we see more often Björk happy and smiling than we see him . :)

  • @andremartins4 indeed :) Difficult not to be happy with such music!

  • there are about 73 peole in the crowd wearing sunglasses. yes i watch this so much i know

  • I'm just hitting my desk with them...

  • My favorite Sigur Ros song + one of my favorite artist...what a great combo.

  • even the security staff is smiling! And the Festival is called Nattura. Could there be a better place than Iceland? I hardly think so!

  • Björk, bang my snare!

  • I've never been to Iceland, but I long to return...

  • @MrMonsterstiffy well said! exactly like me! bought a dictionary yesterday!

  • la jefa

  • OMG look how happy they look :)

  • This video will make you smile, again and again and again and again

  • Los amo demasiado

  • björk is so beautiful

  • @MrBigoutdoorsman15 He is not mentally retarded, he just has an eye condition :c

  • Oh...I know this is definitely Sigur Ros...and there's no doubt that's Bjork. It's the "beautiful music" part of your comment that I'm questioning. It looks more like an eclectic mix of mountain people going "lalalalalalalala" and banging on a bunch of drums over and over and over. Not exactly complex musicianship. The singer can play guitar but at times his voice sounds like whale sounds. Just my opinion and I know I'll get a bunch of negative replies. They sure are a happy bunch though.

  • @kovalevisgodOh, I see we are thinking different,to me this is really wonderful music!I know that the stage is a real mess of people banging drums and it doesn't really make sense. But can't you se how happy they are? Everybody is really having a great time! I agree this version of Goobledigook isn't the most perfect one.But there happy smiles is totally making up for it!

And do you really think Jónsi is sounding like a whale? if so, he's the most talented whale ever! This is totally beautiful!

  • @kovalevisgod This is a live performance of the icelandic band sigur rós wich is doing very beautiful music!

  • @StainlessSteelStyle Are you sure?

  • @kovalevisgod What should i be sure of? I'm sure that this is Sigur Rós with Björk on a live performance, and I'm sure that they (in my opinion) is making vey beautiful music!

  • Jónsi is so hot, so handsome, So awesome!

Deam he's gay, otherwise i would take the first flight to reykavik and go get him!! (and so cute when he speaks icelandic, even thought i only understood two words)

    Music + Icelanders+ Confetti = Sigur Ròs!

  • This is ACTUALLY I'd LOVE to experience music if I came to this planet ;-)

  • uhm... They'r "lalalalalalalal" remember's me of "Happy Tree Friends" !:x

  • such a good vibe

  • Euro for ever, for ever and ever and ever and ever, euro for ever, for ever and ever,la la la la la la la la al.

  • bjork's constantly adorable

  • lol i was there and it was magical

  • @gfxdsigner I'm jealous lol

  • Half of Islanders in one place?!

  • @anka942942 Icelanders.

  • @guthixguy27

I'm sorry but Icelanders are islanders anyway....

  • There is truly something going on over there, in Iceland. By some reason, all Icelanders seem to be somewhat aesthetic. If its music, art, dance.. They know it.

  • @NGC3370JT Indeed. I'm continually blown away by the amount of artistic talent that country produces. I was at Bræðslan a couple weeks ago, and apart from one foreign headliner, it was all Icelandic bands that you've almost certainly never heard of before. And they were just incredible. I mean, this is a country with less people than the city of Santa Ana, California. It blows me away how much incredible music, art, sculpture, architecture, etc they produce.

  • the smile on bjorks face says it all

  • Man, I wish I had a time machine. Even though it's awesome being able to watch it on the Tube, it's not the same experience as being at the event which was the most awesome thing in the world.

  • ESTO ES GENIAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

    MADE ME CRY OF HAPPINESS

  • @pristinasilvia Same here!!! :D

  • ohh my goodness jonsi is so handsome i love him and my loveeee bjork both are the best singers artist ever existed ... this song is impacting just unbelievable.. i love u guys i wanna meet u before dying..

  • starts at 0:45

  • Could you please stop talking about blind eyes and squint looks!?

What you are listening is a pure awesomeness and REAL MUSIC! You should have focused on that instead of being stuck in outer appearance!

  • Um - he's blind in 1 eye. That's it...

  • we all are wild beasts deep down :) run wild as much as you can to keep your soul alive!

  • lalalalalalalalalalalala!

  • Man, ur are watching one of the best distinctive artiest on this planet!'

    Bjork & Sigur Rós-

  • ThE vOCALIST IS Blind???

  • @Yawize no he ain't. when your eyes are crossed, doesn't mean you cannot see.

  • @ihugtheworld Hey man Somebody told me that he is Blind JUST of one of his eyes!! Actually you can see the response over here... Ok! Its a Mistery!

  • @Yawize Only one eye of his is blind.

  • There must be no hope at all for mankind if a video as pure and joyful like this still has arguements in the comments section!

  • great group energies!!! music can be fun - life also : )

  • There is no song with such a beat as this one. It's the simplest beat ever, but it's so powerful and energetic.

  • This is such a great song, i'm sure this seems annoying but check out my video response above called my melodies, wrote it after i listened to this song about 100 times so i think you'll like it if you like this song

  • ;DD ermosaa canciooon!

  • 51 people are deaf

  • Wait, is that Ólöf Arnalds with Jónsi and Björk?

  • can anyone translate what they are saying???

  • @blastfusion He speaks too quickly and I'm not good enough yet to catch most of it :P He starts off with "Jæja,", which means "Well, ".., but I miss what follows that. Later, it seems he's introducing people; I hear something like "X spilar með okkur" ("he/she/it plays with us") a couple times, and I'm pretty sure I hear Georg mentioned in there, although, again, ég er byrjandi, svo treystir mér ekki ;)

  • If you like Sigur Ros, check my band White Note channel by clicking on whitenotetheband. Enjoy :)

  • Gawd I love you guys!

  • They are the only ones who can put Björk there in the back with the little drum without being bad.

  • @mmmarioncrane I think you need to get your vision checked, she's at the front of the stage right next to Jonsi...

  • Icelanders - Music = Fun!

  • Björk and Sigur Ros! I kill for this concert!

  • @willydemon2 I wouldn't... Sigur on his own maybe, but Bjork can stay home.

  • @willydemon2 Or rather Jonsi.

  • how could anyone not like this this?

it has such a positive energy about it . . .

  • OMG this is so great!!!! Everytime i hear this song, i smile and feel so happy :)

  • Lol, after "jæja", the only word I was able to catch in the beginning was various forms of "spila" :P What a huge difference there is between learning to read or speak something and understanding it when spoken by a native speaker.

  • This video just makes me happy!

  • Bjork + Sigur ros = Mindblowing music

  • I LA LA LA LA LA LOOOOOVE SIGUR ROS! <3

  • They're having so much fun together, it's so cool!

  • So recently in my life I've been kind of depressed and bored with nothing to do. Started occupying myself by hanging with friends, smoking weed. And it helped, but I was still kind of depressed. Then I started going through my brothers iTunes, found sigur ros, remember liking them at one point and tried to find a song. This is the one I found and I've never been happier before in my life. I truely remember how much I loved this band and how happy it made me.

  • I die...

  • great song!!!

Der schaut ja genau aus wie Daniel Brühl!!!

  • Another piece of evidence that Sigur Rós is not of this world. The amount of joie-de-vivre it exudes is just... Amazing. For some reason this video just makes me inexplicably joyful. No matter what mood I was in before.

  • i love this song. it makes me want to run through the streets naked.

  • "Vindur í hárinu" means "Wind blowing through my hair" or literally "Wind in the hair" :P

  • What's wrong with his face?

  • @gilmore97 hes blind in one eye

  • @gilmore97 He has one eye blind

  • I can think of a million better uses of bjork's talent but this is still a lovely video.

  • I was there!

  • @betabite89 I wish I was there! ;O)

  • Very goooood

  • some people are fighting in Libyia, and i'm here listening this song, crying too ... and i d'ont understand what this song is about ;-)

    Bjork is so cute here.

i hope to go in iceland one time in my life.

  • It's a piece of poetry

  • I don't need understand the lyrics to feel what it mean!

  • @XxdillffxX tell me what it means then

  • I want to be on that stage banging the drums with them!

  • They're crazy, I love them all :D

Could anyone please translate what Jonsi says for poor not- icelandic people? (:

  • that is so good for my soul XD

  • Oh, Jónsi, you make squinting cute :D

  • music + fun = icelanders

  • @LAFKO1 or... music + icelanders = fun!

  • @LAFKO1 icelanders + music = wtf are you saying? it sounds amazing, but wtf are you saying?

USA + music = influence on the rest of the world.

to clarify, music + fun = jammin'

  • @crazytrain81 I'm sorry buddy but the REAL music comes and came from EUROPE (check Classical music please ) , except for some nice surprises like Bob Dylan , The Byrds , Jefferson Airplane , John Cage, Steve Reich and some more.

  • @vogelmandrie Wow. You really must have an ego to tell me that. I'm talking modern music, not overall. And it was a point of view, not a statement in absolutes.

I'm a music major. I study the baroque, classical, romantic, impressionist and contemporary periods of music, whether I want to or not, to get my degree. And everything that you've heard by sigur ros, as pleasant and great as they are, is a creativity on the compilation of many artists, including american experimental contemporary.

  • @vogelmandrie Don't tell me the ways and "laws" about my major and my profession as a writer if you want to go that far. That makes you sound like one of my asshole professors that take an elitist standpoint about music. Anyone who is elitist is hated by most everyone else by either not having the same point of view as other elitist private "critics" or like a complete dumbass to the people who are neutral and have personal tastes in music.

  • @vogelmandrie How bout enjoy the song and comment on how great of a gathering this was and how great of a job they did :)

  • @vogelmandrie How do you define "real" music. Music could be as simple as a strum of a cello, a bird chirping, there's no 1 fits all start to what music is and has come to be. Your definition of music is based off an opinion, not a fact.

  • @crazytrain81 Music has been around long before the U.S. came about; sure there are influences from the U.S, but there are also influences in Europe, Africa, and most importantly nature. So USA + music = what the fuck are you saying?

  • that would be sooo much fun to be up there. awesome song and performance

  • This looks like fun. :D

  • am I the only one that thinks it gets redundant. even with Bjorks wide range of beats?

  • @infin8vibrations Redundant? In what way?

  • 0:10 hey! the cam is in the wrong position! lol... btw...awesome song!

  • @MachArs97 it looks like they are filming the crowd, i see it all the time lol

  • bjork is having fun :)

  • Rock that snare drum, Bjork.
