  • YES -- IT IS SO MESSED UP. The galleys I'm reading now look as they will in book form -- maybe that will help. By the time I've finish'd proofing a book I am so sick of it! But then I can't help reading it again once it's publish'd -- dreading yet determin'd to find yem elusive typos that I didn't catch. Ah, well. We do whut we can.

  • It's so true, Wilum...it always happens! I'll proof the hell out of a book, get my copies from the publisher and crack one open and BAM, catch an overlooked typo right away. And more soon enough. Oy vey is right!
