  • Let's just deal with this

Messi is this and it doesn't matter what the world say David beckham and cristiano ronaldo could beat him any day so haha

  • beckham vs cr7 anyone?

  • 17 August 1996

  • Comment removed

  • Messi is better because he is the voted best player in the world. But back in his day David beckham WAS without a doubt one of the greatest players and it isn't disputable. If he was still in his 20's I grantee he would give messi and Ronaldo a run for their money

  • Messi Is Better!

  • @JesusAGarcia56 yes, yes, Messi is better yawn. Why do we have to compare them? Just enjoy the goal for what it is - a great piece of skill. Man, I am sick of these constant comparisons on YouTube.

  • Well I Believe Lionel Messii Is Better in My Perspective! He Is A Young Fellow and Hes Better than Beckham. This Lad Will Lead to A Bright Future and Hes Just 23! Manchester United is also a Gay Team!

  • @JesusAGarcia56 Messi is better, but comparisons are pointless. They are completely different in the way they play the game - they don't even play in the same position. Beckham isn't one of the greatest players but he has been a very, very good player. Messi IS one of the greats but why does this pointless debate keep rising up on every fucking YouTube video? Just watch and appreciate the goal.

  • @JesusAGarcia56 .. ur dad was gay too, beckham is ur real dad!

  • fukin aimbot

  • Peter leven !

  • @tomgarify Leven must have watched this before the game today! :o

  • @Jale299 - alonso vs. newcastle?, paul robinson vs. watford? that's just the premier league

  • this will never happen for the nxt 1oo yrs

  • @Jale299 idiot alonso did it in 2006

  • @Jale299 actually he did it again not long ago with LA Galaxy. But without a keeper haha.

  • @Jale299 ..maybe :P Suaréz tried watch?v=XpZmWrVPu3c

  • @alslevie1986 beckham has a goal from 70 yards too. He's playing for LA Glaxy in that one

  • insane

  • fantastic goal

  • Nothing really special abt this! Ive seen Beckham score some Awesome Goals later in his Carear!...

  • @xxPanteraxxx That's the point. This was in 1996 when Becks was a kid! As if any kid has the confidence to try this one.

  • freaking genius

  • WORLD CLASS I WANT HIM 2 COME BAK !!!!!!!!! :(

  • damn the commentator makes me want to play FIFA or champions league, since i`ve always heard him from there :D

  • Ha....this money grabber went to Madrid and Barca won the Champions League...he then 'disappeared' to fatland then decided to flaunt his wares in Italy with Milan, guess what?? Inter won the Champions League......hope he signs for Celtic in Glasgow next....but they cant afford him...Oh Shite....Ach well WATP!!!!!

  • At Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace's ground :)

  • i remember watching this live it was just amazing

  • moist!!

  • Ted Beckham, David's dad, was sitting behind the goal (with Gary and Phil's dad Neville Neville) but sadly missed seeing the ball actually hitting the net because everyone stood up in front of him at that moment.

  • I was there that day, and basically missed the goal! Didn't expect him to shoot from there obviously so looked down to put salt on my chips and looked up to see the ball hit the net! lol

  • @kellyfortune well... what can i say... your luck was motherfucked that day !! ;-)

  • @kellyfortune I was there that day too. My brother was a friend of Sam Hammam (Wimbledon owner) so I got to sit in the directors box, which was on the other side of the field from the video camera angle. Met Beckham afterwards. Couldn't believe how young he was. I'm a Liverpool fan so it's difficult for me to compliment a Utd player, but that's a simply astonishing goal.

  • @kellyfortune you are one unlucky person...

  • @andre92u actually hes lucky that he was there when it all started for beckham...

  • @kellyfortune Serves you right for having some chips rather than getting behind the boys. NWAF.

  • @kellyfortune who puts salt on their chips anyway hahaha

  • @johnangell1958 salt+vinegar+chips=pure joy

  • AMAZING ALEX!!

  • he just has the power

  • beckham u hav d ulmate soccer tricks

    lik u &ur game

  • David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick, Steven Gerrard; masters of the "Hollywood pass".

  • ur list is bullshit. I can only assume you have shit for brains.

  • @novatrek

OK, well who are your choices for the best long passers?

  • I mistook your meaning. Thought "hollywood pass" meant something else.

  • Leave out the fucking scouser, only then your comment is correct

  • @burhanur its a very true list but take gerrard off it, he isnt in that league when it comes to passing! u also need to add xavi and rooney!

  • Now Figueroa's goal is better than this one. NICE!!! Dale Maynor!

Check Figueroa's goal (Wigan vs Stoke City, Dec. 12, 2009.)

  • no it isnt,

  • figuroa's goal wasn't better by far it's much easier to hit a dead ball which figuroa did and beckham hit from a moving ball figuroa had time to consider it beckham took one touch from open play and in.

  • neva performs in big games or woprld cups

  • i memba this must av only been about 10 11,sullaven wernt a bad keeper these were the days of vinnie jonesy, the goal looks massive dunnit
