Man I got the shiznitz. My uncle gave me his subwoofers that he never used. I have two 10 inch blue thunders with the blue cones powered by a Precision Power ProMos 450. For mids and highs I got MB Quart 218.03 CX components powered by a Precision Power A200. For the head unit I have a Alpine CDA-9885. I thought I saw some smoke coming from the 450 once when I popped in DJ Magic Mike and felt the BASS!
honestly, this sounds like crap. and as far as your output being mind blowing.. ive got 2000 watts running to just my 4 door speakers.... i need to upgrade my amp to something in the 4k watts just to be able to run my 2 12's at full power. and they dont sound like garbage. the sound coming out of my headphones was like a pioneer plastic woofer from bestbuy, or a lightning audio sub from walmart. lol. blah.
lol. ur not gonna find them at walmart bud.. between 4 speakers thats 500 watts a piece. albeit i dont have the gain turned all the way up on the amp, and i tend to not turn my volume up all the way on my headunit.. however, any speaker can handle an unlimited supply of power at the right note. my doors have a high pass filter on them built in to the amp. thats how they can handle so much and still sound good.
500 watt per speaker will not sound as good as one 2000 watt speaker. It will just sound like a 500 watt speaker, surround sound. thats NOT 2000 watts. and the 500 watt, is most definetley the peak.. i doubt ur car door speakers are 500 watt rms buddy.. even if they are. they don't need to be. you wont be able to listen to it that high with the treble.. and by the time u have cashed out for 500 watt rms door speakers you might as well of got a sub and 200 watt door speakers, would sound better
you can have 10k watts continuous running into a tweeter if you have the right frequencies set. trust me, my car system is loud, clean, and set just right so as to be able to hear the music over my bass, but still feel every ounce of bass my sub can muster. if you doubt how good my stuff sounds, come hit me up. i'll show you what it sounds like.
Run the 12v power cable from you battery to the positive terminal on the cap ground it(run a piece of wire form the negative terminal to the cars body) then run another wire from the positive terminal on the cap to the positvie one on the amp and make sure the amp is grounded also....goodluck

too much bass is never a good thing. turn the bass output down on your deck. then you can crank up the volume and it'l actually sound good. mine used to sound like that, but i turned down the sub gain and the sub ouput.

What's the point of having that much bass? Since you are hardcore with subwoofers, why don't you just don't plug the tweeters, mids and just get a subwoofer and amp
the feed back is mainly cause his amps r set too high and the eq settings as well thats y it plays so loud at such a low volume... nice set up any ways
Nice system, but you got some feedback in your RCA's I could hear it when you turned the car on and when you changed songs try running your RCA's on one side of your car and your power wire on the other or try a noise canceler for your RCA's
