  • How come n sound

  • Beautiful! How I want to go!

    But I'm broke.

  • i stayed here it was pretty beast

  • If I recall correctly, Boardwalk 1-bedroom units have one full bathroom and one powder room

  • Oh My god your parents got DVC too!!! I am so Excited to go there in September 2010! Also a little tip the less busies times at Walt Disney world is in the late Septembers and th early Octobers

  • WOOOT can't wait till i get there in november thank my parnts for getting DVC

  • Hmmm, I don't really like what I see. It seems rather sterile and cold. What's with the ugly white table under the TV? Looks like someone said let's decorate from Ikea and Target. Give me the warmth of the Boardwalk, Old Key West and the Beach Club.

  • BLT is supposed to be an extension of CR, so the design is modern. Modern IS cold and sterile. I'm not saying I agree or like it, but that's why it looks that way. Have you seen CR? It's similar. BW, OKW, & BC are all supposed to light and bright. Personally, I don't like all the light/pastel colors. It's like the Golden Girls decorated it in the 80s.

  • I like modern. I like Michael Graves' style--the Dolphin and the Swan, the Casting building and the Post Office in Celebration. I think it would have been cool to replicate the CR perhaps. In my opinion both BLT and Soarin' are structurally too big and ruin the general landscape. I'm glad others disagree though.

  • WOW--JUST LOOKED AT THE PRICING ON ONE OF THE GRAND VILLAS = $1685/NIGHTLY!

And please..."high-speed Internet access is available for an additional fee"

    I mean..c'monnn,...

  • is the walk through still there and will it still be the in December?

  • Yes It will be there. There are always units available for viewing at every resort with DVC units available because they want you to buy a DVC membership.

  • it just a mode,l the outside back ground is just a back drop. I think it just giving you a rough lay out. I hope this is true lol

  • YES! This is just a model. We went for a walkthrough, which anyone can do at WDW. The rooms are bigger than this video makes them look. Also, the down payment is a little more than the other areas BUT the maintenance is cheaper. BLT will not have a front desk. You will have to check in through the Contemporary and they will take your bags over to the towers. Lots of nice amentities and the lounge on the roof will be for DVC members staying at the BLT and their guests only! We did buy into this.

  • I sure hope my parents will take me here somday. I hope they have an Atrium Club lounge so that way I can count all the cars who are parking in the lot and walking over to the Magic Kingdom. I want all of those people towed because it takes up space from my parents car.

  • Well, you can't beat the location, but the room size is disappointing. We seriously considered buying into this, but for the price they are asking, the square footage is a joke. Shame.

  • this is a time share. you just cant stay there. the way u can stay is use your points for a studio room which is like a normal hotel room or u can use more points and get a one bedroom or use more points to get a two bedroom. I bought a time share here, will be taking 9 people so we will get the two bedroom over looking the magic kingdom

  • Or you can just pay like a reg. hotel. Im going in Nov. and didnt want to commit to a timeshare until I saw it. We paid and that $ can be put toward timeshare.

  • My parents signed up for DVC and right now if you sign up before October you actually spend less money because prices will go up and you are able to go on a vacation every year!!!

  • The thought of a newer sleek hotel on the property is great. We have always enjoyed the Grand Floridian..but sometimes falls short of what our needs are with a big family. The Bay Lake does not look spacious...amenity rich probably...but we would be tripping all over each other or have to get two suites. The kitchen would be great with little ones...the balcony nice...but again it seems to have a strong resemblance to that of a motor home...or as someone else said...a cruise ship cabin.

  • Looks out of place, looks more like corporate greed then Disney world.

  • Thanks!! Can't wait to Jan. to see in person...may do an add-on.

  • I am concerned the only people that will do Disney anymore are forieners. Most people can't afford Disney's food prices, tickets etc. Not to mention the crowds are getting bad anytime you go. The exta Chistmas days and Pirate days make your tickets or length of stay passes more.

  • u r so right! prices r rediculous, but we keep going anyway, there's no place like it. my family is in the disney vacation club, & i looked into buying more pts. for bay tower, each pt. is about $110. each, & u have to buy at least 160 pts. a real deal huh??? especially the way the economy is now...

  • That room is small. Much smaller than most ship cabins. But what concerns me more is that this "resort" may just ruin the views on the lake.

  • They keep making these new DVC resorts smaller and smaller. And the price goes up and awayyyyyy!!

  • Thanks for posting. I can't believe its not a larger, whirpool tub in the studio bath. The bathroom sink is like an airplane bathroom. I cannot believe they built it this way on purpose. TOO SMALL!

  • There are no whirlpools in any of the DVC studios, and the airplane style sink shown is in the 2nd bathroom of a 1BR unit. I'm pretty it's the only DVC property that has two bathrooms in the one-bedroom units. The rooms are larger in person than they look in the video

  • Small but sumptuous. I can't wait to stay there!

  • It is on the small size but otherwise I think it's gorgeous. Besides, you're only there to sleep! Thanks for posting!

  • Strange layout of the studio. I've only ever seen a BoardWalk Villas studio, and the BLT studio looks quite a bit smaller. Perhaps Disney has seen new data indicating humans are getting smaller. That, or they're gearing these rooms toward midgets and children under the age of 7.

  • I loved the studio layout in person. Rather than having the tiny mini-kitchen on one wall like the other resorts have, it's separate and has much more room than the other studio kitchenettes.

  • You know, the more I look at this, the more I see consistent size distortion. I have to think it's a lot more spacious than it looks on video.

Now I want to see it in person.

  • I had zero interest until I saw it in person, and WOW, I'm so glad I went and walked through.

  • The room looks very small and cramped. So disappointed. Glad to be able to have a peak though.

  • Wow! That view would be awesome...

    Thanks DIS crew!

  • very tiny.

  • very modern
