Dude, this is amazing! I love it! LOL Your Nny scream scared me. One thing that I would suggest (like I would know lol) is that if you ever plan on using this voice again, just practice Nny going ballistic very suddenly, like he so often does. Other than that this was the most amazing thing evar! Nice!

@animefanJC - Thank you so much. It's nice to see that my first attempt at voice acting has been so well-received, if not just because it's JTHM. This is my top-viewed and most commented video. While the comments are scattered and of tons of different opinions, I appreciate the attention it's getting. Hopefully people have picked up the comic because of this video, which is good enough for me. :3
I like all the voices, maybe make the mother's voice a bit more slurred (she's a druggie) and Johnny's I like the pitch, but he sounds....too sane. Maybe make it sound like he's always about to kill someone (because that is him lol)...like he is very tense.

I love the dad's voice. It was all good. The only thing I would add is that when Nny's yelling at Smee you shoud do it like...alittle more angry and hystarical. (Sp?) and when he says"We're neihbors(sp?)" you should say it more creepily. Other than that GREAT JOB!

You know this sounded really good. :) I have seen some other JTHM voice videos where they make Johnny sound like he can't even speak English correctly.
I laughed so hard! Johnny's voice was awesome! Squee's mom was great...dad was awesome too! I love the cute little bear bear part and the whats that schmee...laughed so hard. It was awesome! Squee was kind of....ah well, he is a genuine, impossible to be! And seeing as how you did all the voices...that was pretty damn great!
Squee sounded fake, but his parents were well done. In my mind Nny didn't have quite that deep a voice, but then again I might be slowly loseing my mind and deterorating to a jello brained flesh bag...

umm, i wouldn't exactly say a squeak, but his voice needs to go form sounding almost sane to completely f-ing manic at the drop of a hat really. there's one on here by professorspecs which is a LOT better i think for Nny and Squee
they do indeed ;P not completely related but don'cha just hate it when people just put a load of unrelated JtHM pictures and a metal-sounding song about killing together and call it a video? it really bugs me cos most of the time the song completely does not relate to Nny at all. in fact, the only songs i've come across that sort-of fit JtHM are ones from Silent Hill OST's
awesome! :D in the comic when Jonny is fighting the bear he seems to just snap, he doesn't seem to build up his anger, at least to me he doesn't. he seems to go from normal (well, as normal as he can get) to violently insane, then back to 'normal' Just my opinion, it was still awesome!

Pretty good. Squee's voice grew on me after a little bit, and the mom was really neat. Did you use iMovie for Squee's dad?
Nny...actually sounded a little too calm, especially with the "WELL FUCK YOU MR. BEAR!! YOU SPEAK LIES!! LIIIEESS!!!" and the rest of the time he's screaming at Shmee. I imagined it as more...shrieky and voice-cracky, and the "We're neighbors now" line to be more creepy. Nonetheless, it's a good start, and I think you have some talent in voice acting...so yeah. :3
No. Actually I used the same editing program for each voice, and the same effect, just different pitch levels. Except Johnny... Johnny was just a maniacal version of my own voice. xD
As for the calmness of Johnny, I guess that's just attributed to how I saw the first chapter. I feel he was less on edge and he was calmer because he could relate to Squee, what with his own problems with inanimate objects talking to him and trying to manipulate him. So i was voice acting with the plot in mind.

Glad to hear it. :3 He sounded like this in my head when I was reading the comic, so it's what I went with. In my other voice recordings for other chapters, depending on the content of the chapter in question, he sounds more thoughtful/less maniacal but the voice in mostly the same.
Besides... He IS a maniac, so I don't see why I should voice him like a distraught emo kid, like I've heard other people interpret him.

Yeah... I did sort of feel like I was expressing his craziness a bit more than his emotions. It's probably my problem with trying to find the emotions in the character. xD
Your voice sounds pretty good, but I wouldn't use it for the whole cast of characters.....I can't say much about anyone's voice anyway, I sound like someone you might meet on a short bus, all nasaly and warbling...with that horrible southern drawl that I've tried my whole life to get rid of.....so you sound great, you just need a better mic, a wider cast, and you're all set for nice, bloody mayhem....mmmmmm.....slaughter......XD
8/10 on the Nny voice, ha. Main issue is you don't seem to yell, full-out, but I assume setting was more the issue. Amazing, nonetheless.

awesome! :D in the comic when Jonny is fighting the bear he seems to just snap, he doesn't seem to build up his anger, at least to me he doesn't. he seems to go from normal (well, as normal as he can get) to violently insane, then back to 'normal' Just my opinion, it was still awesome!

Pretty good. Squee's voice grew on me after a little bit, and the mom was really neat. Did you use iMovie for Squee's dad?
Nny...actually sounded a little too calm, especially with the "WELL FUCK YOU MR. BEAR!! YOU SPEAK LIES!! LIIIEESS!!!" and the rest of the time he's screaming at Shmee. I imagined it as more...shrieky and voice-cracky, and the "We're neighbors now" line to be more creepy. Nonetheless, it's a good start, and I think you have some talent in voice acting...so yeah. :3

No. Actually I used the same editing program for each voice, and the same effect, just different pitch levels. Except Johnny... Johnny was just a maniacal version of my own voice. xD
As for the calmness of Johnny, I guess that's just attributed to how I saw the first chapter. I feel he was less on edge and he was calmer because he could relate to Squee, what with his own problems with inanimate objects talking to him and trying to manipulate him. So i was voice acting with the plot in mind.

Yes I agree. But I also think Jhonen is the only one who could make Nny sound the way he's supposed to. It would be awesome if he could direct the voices lol. I think it was good for a one person demo. I love your voice at the end. "YOU RUINED MY LIFE!!!" LMAO

Glad to hear it. :3 He sounded like this in my head when I was reading the comic, so it's what I went with. In my other voice recordings for other chapters, depending on the content of the chapter in question, he sounds more thoughtful/less maniacal but the voice in mostly the same.
Besides... He IS a maniac, so I don't see why I should voice him like a distraught emo kid, like I've heard other people interpret him.

Your voice sounds pretty good, but I wouldn't use it for the whole cast of characters.....I can't say much about anyone's voice anyway, I sound like someone you might meet on a short bus, all nasaly and warbling...with that horrible southern drawl that I've tried my whole life to get rid of.....so you sound great, you just need a better mic, a wider cast, and you're all set for nice, bloody mayhem....mmmmmm.....slaughter......XD
