The japanese version was hilarious and brilliant because the actors and actresses are able to act out their roles wonderfully and there was great chemistry between the cast. So haters don't start hating on whether the Japanese or the Taiwanese version was better. They both have their merits.

I don't think the guys in the Taiwanese version can make me laugh as hard as Nakatsu (my favorite. LOL), the 3 Dorm Leaders (Nanba, Tennouji, & Oscar!!!), Taiki (the spirit/aura guy), Umeda (doctor) did. These guys are irreplaceable!!!! ♥♥♥

Well the Japanese version focuses on school life with the base story of love life but the Taiwan version puts emphasis on the main story the love story and if you where taiwanese you would know that she was a girl and would have felt that she looked like a girl pretending to be a boy it just counts into different perspectives
You know, it is still an advantage that the girl pretending to be a boy still looks like a girl like in japanese version for you can't easily mistaken that the movie is about a romantic story of two homosexual people unlike in Taiwanese where the girl really looks like a boy with exaggerated expressions. Plus the story must not focus on LOVE since they are still studying ( the actors ) it should focus more about youths' lives and remember STUDY FIRST BEFORE YOU ENTER THE KINGDOM OF LOVE

Ella is really beautiful. Try to type her name in google images. I like both: Ella Cheng and Horikita Maki. I think both of them are great actresses. Both versions of Hana Kimi (japanese and taiwanese) are really funny. I enjoyed both of them! ^_^!
Both versions hav their pros n cons unlike other dramas which we can easily rule out which is no. one and no. two like hana yori dango and boys over flowers. For plotline, the japanese version wins out more. For acting, ella acts better than the jap one altho she isnt as cute or pretty. for the main lead, the jap one acts better. :D For comedy purposes, both are equally funny! the jap one has some hilarious scenes while the taiwanese ones uses the expressions of the actors to the fullest. LOL.:D
The Japanese version was really good ! But the Taiwanese version cracked me up personally ! I couldn't stop laughing , especially at Rui Xi's (Ella) facial expressions ! And Mei Tian and all of the extra cast , lol . but overall they're both good :)

Sorry I can't work out what Maki-san says, my Japanese is still quite awful, but Ikuta Toma (Nakatsu) says that it's his first time seeing his Taiwanese version and it's a little embarrassing because the guy seems really similar to him. Then Mizushima Hiro (Nanba) says that they all look really cool and he'd like to see the other guys - they never showed the Taiwanese Nanba-sempai. And everyone agrees with him.
I've watched both, There's not one that I prefer. I liked them both (: they both have pros and cons to them. I just like seeing the different ways that the Manga "Hana Kimi" can be made in (: I'm proud of both versions of the Drama.

I like both ...ALOT but I gotta say I think the taiwanese is way better yeah the girl looks like a real boy but I think it's funnier plus it's longer so u can see more of the book in the show and it's not rushed and skipped important parts as in the ball scene that was cheaply done in the Japanese version

Ella is really beautiful. Try to type her name in google images. I like both: Ella Cheng and Horikita Maki. I think both of them are great actresses. Both versions of Hana Kimi (japanese and taiwanese) are really funny. I enjoyed both of them! ^_^!

Both versions hav their pros n cons unlike other dramas which we can easily rule out which is no. one and no. two like hana yori dango and boys over flowers. For plotline, the japanese version wins out more. For acting, ella acts better than the jap one altho she isnt as cute or pretty. for the main lead, the jap one acts better. :D For comedy purposes, both are equally funny! the jap one has some hilarious scenes while the taiwanese ones uses the expressions of the actors to the fullest. LOL.:D

The Japanese version was really good ! But the Taiwanese version cracked me up personally ! I couldn't stop laughing , especially at Rui Xi's (Ella) facial expressions ! And Mei Tian and all of the extra cast , lol . but overall they're both good :)

The girl in the japanese version for me was cute but boring the guys made the show in my opinion Plus idk why they hate it thers is nothing wrong with the show :)

I say the japanese version is better because they look more like their manga counterpart. but if I had to chose who looks more like a boy,I have to say the taiwan girl looks more like a boy than maki-san

Sorry I can't work out what Maki-san says, my Japanese is still quite awful, but Ikuta Toma (Nakatsu) says that it's his first time seeing his Taiwanese version and it's a little embarrassing because the guy seems really similar to him. Then Mizushima Hiro (Nanba) says that they all look really cool and he'd like to see the other guys - they never showed the Taiwanese Nanba-sempai. And everyone agrees with him.

I've watched both, There's not one that I prefer. I liked them both (: they both have pros and cons to them. I just like seeing the different ways that the Manga "Hana Kimi" can be made in (: I'm proud of both versions of the Drama.

I saw the tw ver first then the jap one, and I really liked both versions. I liked the interaction of the 2 main leads in the Taiwanese ver because it somehow resembles that of the manga, while in the Jap version, I like the funny scenes and the teamwork contests in the dorms.:))))..I will rewatch them sometime...(",)

I have wached them both and I think that the taiwan version is soo much, y now, cute and relaxing and more, y know, not so strange. the japan version I think its a little weird, you don´t feel so... you know, i didin´t feel so much when i wached it, just a bit funny, but it didin´t touch my heart like the taiwan version.

I think the japanese version is better since the actors and actress resemble the anime characters so much! Personally, i think the characters looks like dolls, pretty much like watching fantasy dramas!

I just love the two Hana Kimi versions. They are special in their own ways... Such camaraderie is shown in Hana Kimi Japan. Such romantic moments were showcased in Hana Kimi Taiwan. I had great fun watching them. Thank you!!!

I like both ...ALOT but I gotta say I think the taiwanese is way better yeah the girl looks like a real boy but I think it's funnier plus it's longer so u can see more of the book in the show and it's not rushed and skipped important parts as in the ball scene that was cheaply done in the Japanese version

when i first saw this drama i didnt know it was hana kimi and i thought it was about the two guys falling in love.... because i couldn't tell she was a girl.....
