i have a 4 month old GSD, ive only had for 6 days, was very timid first 2-3 now its just like a puppy.. knows sit command but wanted to start out on the easy 1 :)
I have known Raul for over 20 years. He has trained both my working dogs for me (Both Czech Sheperds) I have competed with both of them Nationally & done well. Honestly he made 2nd dog better than my 1st. I didn't think that was possible. I have seen alot "Carpetbaggers" in this business, but I garauntee you this, if Raul Hernandez is putting his name on it...it is excellent. The guys at work make fun of me..they call my dog the "push-button" dog because he is so easy to work.
did u use alot of treats to get him to heel like that originally? i have a 4 month old gsd who is just understandign to concept of heeling...hes doing good but his attention span isnt all the way there yet..i use treats in the beginning n am weaning off of them little by little..any other suggestions?
Thanks for the kind words about Zicco. He really is an amazing dog and I wish I could take the credit for his training. Zicco was trained by a man named Raul Hernandez who owns Canine Extreme. He breeds. imports and trains german shepherds. To get that kind of a heal on a dog you have to use what ever motivates the dog, for some its treats... and for others its toys. For Zicco when he was a puppy he started out with treats and now he'll do just about anything for a ball.
stunning dog is he multi language trained?

This clip will be my inspiration for handling my GSD named 'Cash.' (See Angel or devil on this website.) Do take some credit for your expert handling.

what training do you have to teach a gsd,in order for it to bark at a person that that gets to close to you with a weapon.

Gorgeous dog! And very impressive heeling and obedience. I love his facial expression and drive. Very nice!
