  • nice vid, do you need to have rs lynx and emulate installed? or does this do the job instead? also will it run on xp home

  • @Rekorderz LogixPro is a stand alone software that does not need any of the Allen Bradley software or hardware.

  • @arj3090 cool but it looks like alan bradley rslogix 500...how? it exactly the same :)

  • Nice vid I am going to School for computer programming and learning c++ I was wondering if High Level Languages are usually implemented when programming plc's and hopefully a vid would be nice...

    Great Job by the way

  • I haven't messed with the binary tables at all, so when you start talking about states and using b3:? to represent a state the program is in, I want to find out how you manipulated the b3 registry (probably not the correct terminology) to cause the program to recognize it. Please email me at: instegator1@yahoo.com so I don't have to sound any dumber.... :)

  • I was hoping you could show us how to set up the b3 states. I understand the purpose, but how do you set it up?

  • @instegator1 I'm not sure I understand what you mean by setting it up?

  • Thanks for the info, nicely presented, are you aware that at 5:47 you incorrectly say B3:0/2 instead of B3:0/3?

  • Ok Nice. Where are you getting word ( B )?

  • I am seeking assistance with the LogixPro Silo. I can not seem to get the start button and stop button to operate as they should. I figure when the start button is pushed the conveyor belt should run, and the run light should light up. When the stop button is pushed, the conveyor belt should stop, and the run light should turn off. It seems to work, almost the opposite, and I already checked the addresses. Also, a couple of the lights do not light at the correct times. Also help with the ABC

  • grt demo. Thanks.

  • i cannot see the numbers u pnched in :/

  • estan bien especificados el video pero si estubiera en español estubiera mucho mejorpara entenderle correctamente, mis feliccitaciones a los creadores de este video

  • really nice demo man, two thumbs up. extremely too fast though haha for me atleast. but thanks for posting it really.

  • Thanks for posting this. There are easier ways to do this, but your demonstration of how to go from a state diagram to code was really nice.

  • that would be really awesome!! i have kinda done them but i have a few things i cant seem to understand so if you could email them to me, I would be most grateful.

  • you would make my life if you could do the second section to the silo : )

  • i can e-mail it to you. I hae done them all

  • Could you send them to me PLEASE!, thanks

  • @GorefanaticReturns

Can you please e-mail me the solution. For some reason this programming is really confusing for me and i am trying to understand the concept. I would appreciate your quick response, please. Thanks.

  • do you where i can download the logixpro simulator ??

  • look in his description - thelearningpit

  • Did anyone ever see the Silo.rsl that is in the LogixPro folder? It's so much simpler and has the start/stop and lights working too.

  • Haha oh man, I am an EET and I just had this silo sim for homework, but I only found your video after it was due!

  • just wondering why you didn't operate the lights? or input a stop button?

  • I was limited to a 10 minute video, so I ran out of time to go any further. I had plans to make a part 2 and continue building on the basic concept.

  • You have one mistake. You pronounce faulty the B:3/3+i:1/3 that make the B:3/1. Insead of the B:3/3 you say B:3/2. wich creates problem for smokeing28.

I must admit ThaT you thinking metod is the best that I have spotted, as it really made the program work in the first try.

Could you tell us some books wich will create us the same thinking methods ?

    gate077 The torrent is :

    LogixPro_v1.6.1_PLC_Simulator.rar

or try ITS PLC a game with sound and good graphics

  • This software is so good i try to find a cracked version but ist look like nobody know this logixpro .right now im using a trial version so if you have an idea of what i can do let me know . ho and i dont ant to buy it on internet because i dont trust it .

  • the prosses starts as soon as its put in run,if you let it run for more than a minute you will get spillage build up on the floor, theres no way to stop and start it without taking plc off line, i dont mean to pick it appart. but i just did this step by step and thats what i got. its easer to have the conveyor start with the start button stop @ prox, start a timer (TON) then restart conveyor you can wright the conveyor prog first then test then whight the fill pross. and set the conveyor timer.

  • That is an excellent job at describing simple state machine programming. Great job!

  • logixpro silo

  • try the mr plc site great for independant learning

  • berly getting into plc programming been stuck on linear circuit design. Great job on video keep on supporting independent learning.

  • I was working on this problem 6 months ago,it burned me out a bit so had 6 months off,i managed to do it just using basic instructions, will post under term logixpro silo simulation
