  • I got a 88 to it came with a 305 i put a 350 in it and its a 5 speed I got a rearend out of a 97 banshee firebird with full disc brakes it bolts right in and its like around 4 inchs wider so it gives it a really nice stance 1 question how did u manage to double the size of the harness it looks like a real mess and you should have less wires with a carburator also i got a holly in mine i like them way better than edelbrocks . any your car sounds real nice i like it

  • I will post a vid of my new car soon.

  • wow thanks man for responding i really apperciate that so just take off the carb and the intake and make the holes oval and thats it cool can't wait to try it thanks will that work with a edelbrock carb and edelbrock intake manifold well thanks and camaro forever

  • hey peteflob i have a 1988 305 5 speed v8 it is a tbi how did you convert it from tbi to a 4 barrell edelbrock is it hard to do please i would like to know nice car thanks and i have one more question alot of people say 600cfm can fit and work but how come they say use 500cfm for a 305

  • @1hotmaro Nice! I wish mine was a 5 speed. The conversion is really really simple. The only difference between a chevy small block built for TBI and one built for a carb are the 4 center bolt holes that hold the intake to the heads. I just used a drill and ovaled the 4 center holes out on the intake and it fit right on. Takes 5 minutes to do!

  • @PeteFlob As for the carb, a stock 305 with its smaller bore can't take advantage of the flow a 600cfm carb offers... Mine ran fine, but the 350 I threw in this car last month runs better!

  • Dude, I worked for like 15 minutes on one 2x8" section of rust with some sandpaper. LMFAO at the credits!

  • Hey, Pete,

Congrats on this project -- pretty neat!

  • This reminds me of my old car. Dude, the car sounds bad ass!!! Makes me wish I didn;t get rid of mine! What kind of exhaust does that thing have?
