    supercalifragilistic expialidocious

he really loves the alphabet: his original name is Arnold Dorsey, but people might find engelbert humperding easier to pronounce

  • I love this. I was at the record store a few months ago, and my dad suggested we buy a Engelbert LP, but I didn't want to since I had never heard of him and thought he was rubbish. But when we played it at home... all I can say is that I got hooked. Thanks, dad.

  • Now, this is what I call a classic song. Gotta love the sideburns as well.

  • @clacksonracers great song

  • Das ist ein sehr Romantisches Lied einfach zum träumen mit Andy über die Tanz Fläche schweben

  • It was his manager Gordon Mills who suggested that he change his name to Engelbert Humperdinck, the German composer (1854-1921) who wrote the opera Hansel and Gretel.

  • I agree.

  • He's my gym teacher now. Everyday he sings in class and his voice is still the same omg<3

  • one word wonderful.

  • his name is funny

  • l am 62 an it is not box your ears lol

  • Lovely song by Engelbert, check out my version above. ~ Arthur

  • GREAT Music is TIMELESS regardless of genre , style or decade. I always wondered why HUMPER DINCK was used as his stage name?? Obviously it was more interesting than DORSEY but could there have been some kind of sexual connotation? He certainly had the dark good looks , image & elegance required.

  • My dad passed on when I was 13, he used to blast songs from Engelbert Humperdinck to Tom Jones. I'm 19 and I'd choose selections from their albums to the current top 10 chart hits.

Fair enough. Now get out of my house, give me back my car keys and tell your mother she's free to move in whenever.

  • @MistressTorturous By your screen name, I assume that you are female. Apparently, you're more into mature lesbians. Okay. Live and let live, you know?

  • @JeffersonDinedAlone Yes, I am a female! I have nothing against this song, me and my best friend sing it all the time. But when I was singing it the other day, it just suddenly dawned on me how harsh the lyrics are!

  • I'm loving those sideburns. Wonder if I could get my husband to rock those!

  • ...sungguh kuat menggugah loving memoriku.......

  • 2.6 million hits in 2011 only shows EH enduring quality. I bet he will still be remembered 10 years from now here in YT.

  • 2:42 video: "Release Me" is a popular song written by Eddie Miller, Robert Yount, and James Pebworth, published in 1946. 1967 version and #1 UK hit by Engelbert Humperdinck (born Arnold George Dorsey; 2 May 1936); from the ATV/ITC series "The Engelbert Humperdinck Show" recorded in London 1969-1970.

  • It was a beautiful musical age when music was a music and singers needed (and they really had) voices.

Now it's all gone when Rihanna and Gaga rule the worlds market.

  • @arissss1962 If you still own all the albums, nothing is gone.IM 60, and still have all the albums from EH

Billy Vaughn,Percy Faith, Henry Mancinia, the list goes on and on. Enjoyment to the fulliest and finist!

  • In my early 20's back in the late 60s, although, rock was my life, I found that I really loved EH's music. What a great voice. I romanticized my then girlfriend and now my wife. We keep playing his music to remember those times when we fell in love.
