Absolutely loved it. I think the concert masters mullet and the baroque oboes made it for me. But most of all the timpanist at 6:48 (LOL), soo good. Thanks for the upload!
This version,Brandenburger Barockorchester's and Le Concert Des Nations/Jordi Savall's are my favorites, (I have heard those, Pinnock, The Academy Of Ancient Music/Hogwood and Academy of St. Martin in the fields.
LDGuy, you should hear the Brandenburg Consort, Musica Antiqua Koln and English Concert, none of which 'drag' like this. There should be great distinction between the tempo of the flanking parts (magisterial) and the central fugue (frenetic).
Anyone else thinks this drags a bit? I get the feeling Mr Koopman thinks so too but somehow it remains at this tempo. I think the L'Oiseau Lyre Academy of Ancient of Music/Hogwood recording is a slightly better tempo.

Molt bona. Que Bach és dels millors compositors de tota la història, es demostra amb peces així.
