  • can you customize the sounds individually or does it have a set patch for the entire board? in other words, if i want just one pad to be changed can i do it, or does changing the sound change all the pads?

  • Would this be a good set for a beginner?

  • Impressive.

  • This got double pedal?

  • how loud is the sound? Can you play this drum upstage?

  • 0:02 ...WINNING

  • Does it have Usb port?

  • Which kick Trigger and which Hi-Hat trigger are you using ?

  • Nice drumming keep it up :D :D and btw LOL at 0:02 loved the smile =))

For the people who don't know it's Yamaha DD-65 digital drum kit it's cool :D

  • bro thats nice

  • Is there a foot pedal for the base

  • That dude looks like the dude from mettalica

  • is this portable?

  • @Scottdude21 Yes.

  • @onelonedork thanks=)

  • @onelonedork Hello. That was an awsome play. I have this drumsets too, but do you know where I can replace those two pedals like yours? The orginal pads are not very good to me. Hope you respond...

  • oi gostei do video, queria saber como vc fez no bumbo?

  • Yaeh People D+

  • which store you got this from ? all I see is online but I wanna pick it up at a store not online

  • @MrJigsaw509 I bought mine online, but if you live close to a musicians friend(or other music super store), you could probably buy one there. Otherwise your out of luck.

  • I might just get one of those for practice, I guess it has volume control. My neighbors don't share my love of drumming.

  • I have the MPC1000, Yamaha DD50 and Reason 5. Reason's new Kong drum designer seems ideally suited for the MPC. Samples are way better than the Yamaha, but I'm torn on how to trigger them: MPC, DD50 or keyboard? MPC seemed flaky and unreliable. DD50 has fewer pads and doesn't have all the sequencing features of the MPC. MIDI keyboard for drums just seems dorky. I guess I don't like doing everything in software. Any thoughts on setting up the MPC correctly with Kong? Thanks.

  • Do these feel like your really playing the drums. not just some little kids toy

  • @TheTekkenTech1 It doesn't feel like a toy, but it also doesn't feel like a normal set of drums. Your pads are small, so you have to be very accurate with your drumming. You also don't get the same bounce back as you would with a drum head.

  • @onelonedork Is it too much or too little?

  • Hi my name is Richard, I recently subscribed to you and found this video. I wanted let you know that on the DD65 If you want a more realistic feel from the kit all you need to do is put it on hand percussion mode then cycle back through the drumsets untill you get back to the one you like. It really works well and isnt complicated, it sounds way better plus dubble strokes and buzz strokes are verry easy because its so sensitive. Hope this helps. ---SuperRichard37

  • @SuperRichard37 That is actually a great trick i use when i'm recording. I often sequence my drums using the DD 65 then find the best samples to work with a given song.

  • ta tri

podia ser mais criativo pois fez sempre a mesma coisa

  • 0:01 lol

  • 0:12

  • @terlan indeed.

  • oh but how does it sound so good, are you on a certain setting or something, and if you are, witch one?

  • @mrwierdo84 the drums just sound good for such a cheap setup. I think I used the the #1 preset.

  • @onelonedork is it the pure Yamaha DD-65 or are u using the roland TD-8 or something else with it?

  • @Mordruit Yes thats pure yamaha DD-65 your hearing in this video. In later videos i've hooked it up to a TD-8 for a little more control over my sound and a better high hat midi signal.

  • are you using the POD for the drums? i have it for my guitar but does it work on these drums? please please reply

  • @mrwierdo84 Not in this video, but you can use the pod for distortion or other effects if you like. I often use it for Keyboard and other instruments.

  • Would you recomended it to a person who is looking for a good electronic kit for a very good price? (on musiciansfriend this is only like... 250$)

  • @xKanda101x You can pick this up for around $100 on ebay.

  • @onelonedork damn.... Hey does it come with a bass pedal? or just the drum pad?..... is the pad double bass compatible? >.>

  • Does this come with both pedal for the bass and the hi-hat?

  • @xKanda101x yes they include a bass drum pad and a hi-hat pad.

  • the best drum

  • If your going to do that, just get your self a yamaha DTX, you'll get more pads and a better setup, you can get a used set on ebay for around $500.

  • Hey man, I'm looking for something like this to record my own drum beats on so I can hav something to play my guitar riffs over. Do you think this is a good procduct? coz I think it seems pretty good but I'd like to be assured that it's worth the buy. Reply back please mate (:

  • @parkouraliberte yes you can use this for recording and it doesn't sound to bad.

You can pick this up used for around $100 so its not a big investment for what you get.

  • Man i wanna play drums and i need a decent affordable drum kit! I know it sounds amazing, but i wanna know if a beginner could learn on it and easily convert to acoustic drums? thanks man awesome playing!

  • @SoundOfAShark I use my set for practice and have an acoustic set for the studio and live shows. I haven't had any problems going back and forth between the 2. If anything the small pads make you more of a precision player.

  • @onelonedork

The only problem is i wanna double bass pedal, so i will need to buy a bass trigger. because i want decent gear it will be about another £200 maybe? So i thought i might just buy a Roland HD-1 do you think this is a good decision?

    thanks man!

  • hey im thinking about buying this so i can play drums portably, and i was wondering if you can plug up an amp to it?? like does it have the plug in for it?(i have an amp and plug)

  • Is that foot pedal connected to DD 65 . ?? Actually it has different pedals.. Can you tell me the name of the device used there or is it any electric drum pedal is compatible..with it ........................I think it's awesome mate ....

  • hey dude I just got mine how do I record myself and put it on the computer from a-z alot of people just record them playing right out the speakers of the machine it sounds like crap and all you hear is pads. I do I make it sound like Im hearing it through headphones ? If any of this makes sense

  • does the bass pedal come with it?

  • A bass drum button foot switch comes with it. The foot switch in this video does not.

  • does it realy sound that good in person? i have had a fender one and it dident sound that good

  • Yes yes it does!

  • I'd be embarrassed to even post this video.

  • Well post something better and show me how its done. I'm sure you have a whole batch of great videos you've uploaded.

  • Do you recon this would work on reason 4??

  • I would say yes, but the you might have a few problems with the high hat pedal if you want open and close signals. Everything else should work great.

  • First off thanks for all your vids! I'm wondering what you think of these drums as far as their integration with other tools - specifically the MPC & Ableton Live. I saw these drums for cheap on craigslist but I dont know if its even worth it... Based on previous comments, seems like you can use this as a MIDI controller in Ableton?

  • what type of pedals are they?

can you get them of the internet?

  • DD-65 sounds very great, but try it with Ez-Drummer and you won't believe your ears !

  • can u record that to computer?

  • Midi into computer then feed the midi back to your drums so yes pretty much.

  • OMG!!!

    A pedal???

    How much???

  • the Bass drum pedal was Less then $20 used on ebay, and I added a high hat pedal for $20 from a pawn shop.

  • Thanks for the info.

  • your really good ive got a yamaha drum set but i cant play no whay near as good as this!

  • u should cover the line 6 pod with some texts or something.. it's all i've been staring at this whole time.. haha.. =)

  • those bassdrum kickpedals weren't in were they?

  • Bass drum pedal was added.

  • $100???

    bAd ass

  • what? 100 bucks? the sell it for 210 euros where i live!!(holland)

  • can i hook up any kick pedal with this

  • do you find it awkward that the ride is top right and not the smaller pad lower to it

  • Yes actually i do, and i'm not sure y its set up that way. The other thing that gets me is the cross talk between the high hat and the snare. You have to take care with your hits or one pad will cut off the other.

  • I just got mine yesterday and i love it, i just hate the pedals that come with it

  • me too

  • I upgraded the bass drum pedal but haven't picked up the hi-hat pedal yet.

  • same

  • awesome work, were can you find those pedals and how do you hook them up to the dd-65

  • The bass drum pedal is just a yamaha bass trigger, you can use just about any bass drum trigger just connect a 1/4 inch cable from the pedal to the back of your DD 65. Just search Ebay for Bass trigger.

  • awesome thanks:)

  • Love the playing BUT 47 seconds is not long enough Mr. Your good so you should play more..

    Nice work..

  • When i get home I see if i can roll out a longer one.

  • hey man....nice drum playing....can you make a tutorial for noobs with the akai mpc 1000....I've had mine since christmas and still dont know how to use it

  • Sure i'll try and put one to gether next week.

  • good drumbeat i think
