the pc was set to shut-down in hibernation mode , which allows for a quick boot-up.

hey man. im considering installing something similar in my bmw and would like to know what all I should purchase. I'm pretty good with electronics but I've never messed with touchscreens. Could you help me out and give me a list of the things I need to run this?...what kind of screen?, what kind of pc would be good?, etc... It would really help me out. Thanks!!

That's a clean install, congrats. Did you have any issues moving the air con' control unit? I'v seen a few like this but its the first time I'v seen it with the analogue unit =).

No there shouldnt be an issue with moving the AC unit down, i had no problems! :)

It's a feature in Windows called Hibernation....

It's starting the computer from it's previous state. All the programs that had opened will remain opened when you 'start" it up.
