@fredouwens the reason you think bose sucks is bc you are not rich enough to get a good bose system. i want a good sound and great bass for a movie not whats in my car. i would never run 4 18inch fi subs in my house. grow the fuck up
@jamesttripp you may have the money but you dont know anything about good quality. bose is so expencive for the bad sound. real hifi needs volume and there are lots of better speakers for less money. oh yes and great bass is not available from bose.. only middle deep frequenzes. but if you enjoy it its ok :)
@murder00redrum no im not. i use 2 15's kicker L7's in my house one in 2 back corners. i have 12 12 inch bose mids 12 highs and 15 lows. i use it for movies and partys. if you knew me you would want my system
@333gpp333 Just stay away from BOSE, if you want home cinema, get something like Paradigm or something, if you want 2.0 speakers for music (music is only good with 2.0, even if you pay $500000 for speakers), get something like B&W, Triangle(french brand), KEF and many other brands BUT BOSE,as for setting them up, since sound will come out at 180 degrees,what you did there is mount close to the side walls which is a BIG NO,you eliminated the soundstage, but BOSE has flat,non-3D soundstage anyways
@algabow LOL they are the worst speaker company. There "ACOUSTIMASS MODULES" cant even play below 40 hz and the satellites only have a "TWIDDLER" instead of a separate midwoofer & tweeter. Theyre designed for consumers that think deep warm sound is good (with no hint of high frequencies or lows that dig under 38 hz) that system should be paired with a tube tv MAYBE IF THAT
mate u dont know wat ur on about. I happen to be a major product consumer and know for a fact that plasma screens are more likely to break before a LCD. Yes not all LCD's are good but they beat plasma screens any day. So dont say stuff u dont know
You never look a plasma, LCD are just more brighter that all, but they owned LCD, LCD have failure, not responsive, not smoother for 100 hz, not natural, and very more expensive ahah
@algabow Plasma TV's have the disadvantage of burn in and other major issues that don't apply to LCD's.
also LCD's can work at 120hz when compared to plasma that uses persistence of vision and works at 40-80 hz making plasma inferior to LCD and IPS type panels.
And PLasma burns an image into the screen. Where LCD provide a better more friendly way of displaying the picture. Search Google for PLasma vs LCD/LED. Then get back to me

Bose products are overpriced because:
1) A great deal of capitol has gone into advertising and marketing hype.
2) Higher than normal profit margins made possible because people believe the marketing hype.
3) Bose products are in Demonstrated in isolation away from the competition so customers don't get a chance to properly compare.
