@brittANDsteff I know Edgewater State Park is known for being surfable. Cedar Point has a skimboardable beach when the wind is from the north.

This is in Huron, OH on Nickle Plate Beach. It has to be a north wind to be good there. But they do have a little ditch that sometimes fills with water and you can skim along that.
