About Bill in the sun: Lorena is stopped before she can kill Sookie. Bill is almost dead and takes Sookie's blood. He can't stop himself and he puts Sookie in the hospital. He almost kills her. Since Sookie has magical properties to her blood and Bill drank a shitload, he is able to survive the sun.

the show is good but I can not understand why AB does see the role of Eric as someone not worthy to be with Sookie, I do not know how long we must wait to see them together although I have to admit that I prefer to see her with Alcide than Bill. @Lorraineluna I believe it comes down to this. Stephen and Anna have the star contracts. Alex came in later and no one expected he would be the sensation he has proven to be, so it probably makes for some kinda little maybe problems in the direction things will go. Alan is not going to let Bill drop off the page cause he has him under contract for the duration. Alex can be the biggest draw, but Stephen will always be in the picture as the star of the show. Just my understanding...

Like any other show with a couple people ship, the producers will make the fans wait for it. IMO that's why AB is apparently skipping over Sookie's relationship with Eric and going straight to Alcide. We'll get to see them together eventually (though probably not in the same timeline as the books), just so the tension can be prolonged.
