Its home ice commentators, not national commentators. If it was ESPN then its different. Thats why its there station. Way to go Avalanche....leave Quebec and win the Stanley Cup. :)
i cant stnad such biased comentating, espciall southern team games. I realize it is home ice and home broadcast, but the job of that person is to relay information about what is going on on the ice and not add their own spin to it. Some analysis would be nice but not clearly over exuberance when one team or another scores thats not thier jobs, it is the fans jobs.
The worst commentators are for the Tampa Bay Lightning. I am a Leafs fan and I live in Florida, so the only time I get to see Canadian teams play is when they play Florida Teams on Florida channels. I have heard just about all of the southern teams' commentators and the Lightning are by far the worst. Every hit is a penalty against the other team and every goal scored by the other team is a garbage goal according to them.
I'll never forget this game. We needed it and it was during the best season we ever had so far.

That's JP Dellacamera, and yeah he is good. But, their radio announcer Dan Kamal is much better, IMO.
