Your first misconception is that you believe there has to be a "new testament" and that new testament has to tell the story of Jesus(pbuh).

Secondly, you think that a seemingly "good" teaching should have been inspired by God for the purpose of worship.

The story of Jesus(p) was never intended for worship, and that may be why we don't have an authentic written record of it from his time. Listen to my six part series "Dubious Writings." It should explain my position.

the gospels in the new testament is the true story about jesus. it was the people who wanted to worship jesus because of what he did is so godly. if a man claim to be the son of god and started to heal people and raise people from death and raise himself from death,automaictly people would worswhip him. this is why chrsitians worship jesus because of what he did.
