  • May i ask why you prefer kneeling swings?

  • @renanthonylao It's not a preference. All tools in the toolbox are good. In this case, it was sport-specific for groundfighting, preparing for the 2010 World Games in Jiujitsu and MMA. In both cases, won gold medals for the US Team.

  • @thermaxgym

Alright i see. I'm 16 and practice bjj too. These videos are extremely helpful. Thanks a lot.

  • @thermaxgym Great performance-love the movements. What kind of shoes are those? THey look like excellent training shoes.

  • Hey I'm an amateur MMA fighter, I took about a month off from my last fight and need to get back in shape, I'm wondering if it would be too much to do your Kicboxing/grapper/ground/striker workouts in a week, along with my Technical training?

  • Good stuff! Like the circuit.

  • Very inspiring! Back to the box for me.

  • I am always inspired to go hurt myself more after watching your vids. Thanks for your efforts!

  • 14lbs Dynamax, like it says on video. :)

  • Love the job. Can DB's be used instead fo KB's? I only have 1 KB and it's 20lbs. .

  • Yes.

  • fantastic fratello...proud to be on your side

  • Grazie fratello. Legion!

  • thanks for posting these, Scott!

i'm just wondering how much rest you had between rounds.

you know.. so we can have something to look up to!

p.s. i'd also like to know what mxpwrhs1 is asking :]

  • Start with 3 minutes and work down to 30 seconds.

  • Very good workout. And very innovative, and very combat oriented. Great video.

  • Very innovative workout, I like it.

  • it looks like he had trouble completing just 1 round of it

  • You mean because that was the 6th round? All videos are shot of the LAST round, not the pretty first round.

The goal of conditioning is to induce adaptation through stress GREATER than your current conditioning.

Anything less than your current threshold of performance is merely exercise masturbation - it may feel good, but it ain't doing anything.

  • @thermaxgym i didnt mean that in a negative sense, i was trying to comment on how hard the actual work out was, and wow well you REALLY push yourself each time and wow i didn't now that they were shot in the last round. but i don't think i could make it through 3 rounds of that. looks like a good work out.

  • And there's a standing challenge to anyone to try out TACFIT.

  • How do you break these workouts up into a weekly routine? Would you do the 1A workout 3x in a week, then 1B 3x...or would you do 1A thru 1D in one week? Also, how many weeks would you stick to these workouts before moving on to a new one? Thanks, love the vids.
