Btw this video went to shit at about 8:00. i thought these people are supposed to know what they are talking about. Economically, indeed we do have operate in a deficit, that grows each year, but our country is rich in capital. Our production capacity is much higher then current output, 3/4 machines arnt running. if foreigners have a problems with a diminishing return on their investments they will move to buying our capital/assets. and no the usa wont ever be controlled by a foreign country.

things will balance out in time, in a global aspect you need to recognize the fact that 3rd world countries still exist, they will catch up to us faster because of the information that's so easily available today. these countries are now doing our labor for us in return for information, not money. times are changing and the global market will have to adjust to recognize a post industrial society. there are entirely too many factors to even write anything logical. we got out of every other recession, we will get out of this one. the market will have to readjust to a smaller/smarter economy. hopefully we will learn from our mistakes and new policy will be put into affect, even if it isn't perfected for years to come. Time to get back to basics, produce more and do it more efficiently. The future is our environment and understanding how we consume the resources available to us. what will we do when we have no fresh water in 50 years?

I agree with them completely, BUT the one BIG point they are missing is how greedy the BORROWER was too! I worked in the business and I had a hard time doing loans because people would come to me and say, "hey I need a 5 bedroom house, just get me in, I don't care what it costs." It goes both ways. My customers knew EXACTLY what they were doing...now they say "Oh, I had no idea my payment was going to go up" C'mon, the bankers are crooks I agree, but we sold out too.
