You have to update the style with the little plus sign on the top right of the style box BEFORE you make the next scene..so when u change to wire...go to the style box and notice the little arrows.Pop a new name in and click the little plus sign...then create the scene...
In the "styles" menu you can set the background. I think it is the third box (next to edge and face settings). Set the color to white and uncheck the ground and sky boxes.
SketchUp is not really made for that type of animation. There are some plugins and other software that may allow you to do those things but I am not familiar with using them. I know Blender is an open source software that is great for those types of animations.
@Slovenija666 SU animate my friend.. will do all those things. There's also a plug in called proper animation as a ruby script but SU animate does all those things...make wheels go round while something else moves sideways while other things can be going up and down all at the same time...
how do you animate 1 object on a model? for example a wheel or legs and arms

you need a new driver for your graphic card! The frames per second are very low!

it's depend on scenes ,, like if you put an object on the left of screen in scene 1
then on the right in scene 2 ,, then it will automaticly move from the first point to the next..

Is it possible to make a car, and the only thing that would move would be the wheels?
So the wheels would be rotating but not camera.
And the wheels would rotate even when i draw.
i would look very cool
If i could do that i would animate the whole car.(wheels, motor,(almost everything that moves))
please answer me

is one action equivalent to one scene? for example if i draw a line and then make it scene 1 , would it work?
xXxSnifflesxXx 3 years ago
yes, as long as you add the scene after every action.
