They must have because in the origional book there were brown ones. Pedita and Prince and their pups. Incase I've confused you Pedita in the film is actually Mrs in the book and Pedita was a different character!

Two-Tone has a blue collor and an earing, also half black half white but that's probably not clear in the pictures, Rebecca has a pink collor and light blue eyes.
