2002* Finals preview, they still have not been played yet 8 years later, whenver the league comes to their senses, plays them, and the real champion is crowned
You people don't understand the rules of basketball.
Peja caught the ball and landed on his right foot. He then planted his second foot. He could have even taken another step because as long as his pivot foot does not lift and then land again, it's not a travel.
Fantastic game. Peja was on fire and even hit a three that skimmed the backboard as it swished through the net. Boy, the media critics claiming that the Kings, even *if* they had won against the Lakers in WCF 2002, wouldn't have beat the 2002 finalist Nets ate some serious crow after this drubbing.
Yep, can you believe that? Someone columnist from BSPN actually wrote that to claim that the fastbreaking Nets can run with the Kings. Some people can't see basketball magic even if it came and bit their rear end.
Yea I remember it was the year after we lost to the Lakers in 7 and people were saying Kings and Nets in the finals next year and this was a preview of that and we pounded the Nets we were leading like 92-66 after 3 quarters
That 2002-03 team overcame a ton of injuries, so it was arguably even better than the 2001-02 team, but it could not overcome the final injury to Chris Webber.
The greatest tragedy in sports.. =(

@paydog23 and the referees cheated them when they were playing the lakers in the championship years back
johnlansing14 8 months ago
That's an excellent question.. They were a tough team, fun to watch and not a dirty team like the Spurs.

@gasmas87 Refs. Watch the 2002 playoffs on youtube. There's a channel somewhere that highlights major plays and calls.
