Holy crap, I almost fell over out of my chair at the very end laughing..... Oddly I have never seen this before. I admire that they at least tried to keep a straight face.
This was one of the best comedy shows ever! Very clean with out bad words and sex unlike today. Any one of all ages could watch this show with out being offended. I think God could also be laughing at this show too! Carol Burnet is the very best ever!
I am 13, and I saw this infomercial about the show and they had collector DVDs or something. I thought it looked funny, so I looked it up on here...I freakin love it!!
Yes, it is. They would crack each other up on the show, and that was part of the comedy. Tim Conway's dead pan humor was great. The old shows were well done. When I look back at them, it is amazing what they did and what they got away with so many more limitations than we have today. Comic genius at its best.
I loved it when he put the raw meat in the bottom of the toaster oven, and when he took it out, he pulled out the top pan! Too funny!!! :-) lol Just missing one thing, though...Mrs. Lion (who very well could have been vicki lawrence!)
I wish this show was in syndication. It's the most hilarious variety show ever. Love watcing it as I grew up. Tim's elephant story always has me LMAO.
I feel sad that my grandchildren will never enjoy the comedic genius of the Carol Burnett show. Harvey and Tim were amazing and Vicki Lawrence was so versatile. RIP Harvey
I loved watching the Carol Burnett show as a child, I am so sad to hear he passed. I offer his family my condolences and I keep thinking of Tim Conway, he must be heartbroken. One of the greatest comedy teams EVER!
Yes, I agree with you. I was very sorry to hear about Harvey Korman's death this year. He was very ill for a long time now. He was a very good comedian from The Carol Burnett Show and he did other comedy routines away from Carol Burnett's show like "Blazing Saddles" the 1974 comedy film from Mel Brooks. He left The Carol Burnett Show in 1977 to have a TV sitcom of his own, but it didn't work out. It was called "The Harvey Korman Show", naturally. It ran on the ABC-TV network in 1977.
When I was online last night and hear about Harvey Korman's passing. I was in shock. He was one of the greatest and funniest men of the 60's and 70's. God Rest in peace Harvey. We love you
I have great memories of watching Harvey on the Carol Burnett Show with my Mom and Dad(RIP). He helped bring us great shared family moments. Thanks for all the laughs Harvey. To the family, I'm sorry for your immense loss. Rest in peace Harvey.
The Carol Burnett Show was one of my most favorite shows as a little girl. Always used to watch it at my grandma's house. And then later of course Mama's Family. I loved all the skits with Harvey and Tim especially. Loved when Tim would make him crack up. Cant believe I missed their recent shows here in Charleston. Forever will be kicking myself in the butt for that move. RIP Harvey RIP!
My condolences to Harvey's family and friends and also to his legion of fans. The Carol Burnett show brought true comic genius into the homes of so many people. He will be missed, the world is a sadder place. Rest in Peace!
My condolences to his family, and to his legions of friends and colleagues. How lucky you all are to have had him in your everyday life! - I'm sure you had the benefit of even more laughs than those of us who could only see him on TV and on the movie screen! Thank you Mr Korman, for your years of making us laugh - "I'm so glad we had this time together......."
RIP. Between you and Tim Conway, you both made me laugh countless times. Even watching the same sketch over and over. He has to be in heaven. Where else would someone who brought so much happiness end up.
This show was a big part of my childhood. I always loved how Tim Conway would constanly crack Korman up. Blazing Saddles is one of the best movies ever made too!
carol burnett in my opinion is one of the all time greats in comedy. She is right up there with lucille ball. Great laughs whenever I see her perform, and i never tire of her comedic genius
