  • matry used to be a race car driver back in the eary 70s. i saw him race at darlinton s.c.

  • There's voices and then there's Marty, the smoothness is wonderful and those high notes - nice hardly covers it!

  • Incredible singer/songwriter, humanitarian, all-round good guy, married once -no dirt on this cowboy. Even when he was advised to slow down, not do shows due to heart troubles, Marty resisted. Instead, he squeezed out every drop off his soul to his audience. What a magnificent, comically brilliant singer: nothing could buck this guy; he had a killer voice that could adapt to almsot any style. Legend!!!

  • shite

  • perfect in every way on like todays crap

  • wow this song is srsly very beautifull

  • Effortless...........Great Guy!!

  • this song was wrote by jeanne pruit....wish someone could write them like that today

  • I think every man's dream is to have a gal like Barbara. Oh, my!

  • rotty@vb does anyone know who wrote Love Me - thanks

  • wow! This brings back memories ... great ones. :-)

  • Last time I saw Marty Robbins was at Taft Auditorium in Cincinnati, OH.

When it comes to entertaining,he's way out front

of whoever s in second place.

    Miss you Marty!

  • What talent! a great loss to country music.

  • unidentified woman!?! That's Barbara Mandrell.

  • I find myself crying everytime I watch one of these videos. Man, he was just so great! I am so sorry that he was taken from us so soon. May he rest in peace.

  • it is Barbara Mandrell. Looks great... This is crying music.. beautiful..

  • i'm not sure but i think that might be barbara mandrell.

  • Great little song and she is Beautiful.

  • Marty's vocal range for highs - and lows - is still AWESOME! These songs are bring back so many memories.

BTW I think this was Barbara and sister's show not Marty's 'Spotlight.' I agree he died far to soon, but look what we have.

  • This tune was written by Jeannie Pruitt (Satin Sheets fame). Simple lyrics and melody make great country songs.

  • Dangit! He always makes me cry!

  • I do wish that they would release more of Marty's 'Spotlight' shows on DVD. How great it would be to hear him singing many songs that he hadn't recorded. The charisma between Marty and Barbara is self evident. I think they had a huge admiration for each other.

  • I think i lived in the wrong time.I admire this man for I think aslong as I live. And I never had the chance to meet him.Sadly Mister[with respect]Marty died to soon.A great voice and a great man left this world to sing on the right hand of the Lord.Marty rest in peace together with your woman, your woman, your wife,Marizona.

  • Just an awesome "MAN" Marty Robbins the greatest singer of all times. You are the "VOICE" of Country Music. Thank you for posting this,loc139.

  • Marty Robbins? AWESOME!

  • This guy is supernatural...incredible voice.

  • What a beauty Barbara was (and STILL IS !!).
