Words - I'm gonna take my vacation in Heaven, What a time, What a time, What a time! Verse 2 - Sittin down by the banks of the river, What a time, What a time, What a time! Verse 3 - Gonna see my loving Mother, What a time, What a time, What a time! Verse 4 - Gonna meet my loving Savior, What a time, What a time, What a time!
this takes me back to my child hood; the old people use to sing like this; and u could fell the spriit moving. people would be shouting and crying; nobody wasn't trying to out sing or out shout nobody else. they was just enjoying the presence of the Lord.... i love this felling u still get from these old songs.
@mike19621000 Amen! There is power in this! I remember this as a child too. And yes you could feel the spirit flow. Sincere worship. Testimony and this form of praise is MISSING in today's younger churches trying to be relevant
Praise the Lord just to look at my family members...Cureton's and Boular's..What a Time in Deed...I may be young but I pray that when all is said and done I take my vacation up in heaven like many have already...But those still here are just merely packing there bags and awaiting till they take there heavenly stride...
Hymnchoir bless you for these posts. Truly ole ole ole gospel. I stumbled upon your posts and have enjoyed them every since. How important it is to know about these and to keep the legacy alive. AMEN AMEN!!!!
My great aunt always talk about my great grandmother and her songs.... She said this was her favorite song...She died in 1948, and this song still moves the spirit. Imagine it back then....
Wow, my grandmother loved this song, I thought my church made up this song when I little. lol I'm 30 and haven't heard it in years. My granny still hums this song to this day lol
