Yep, that's where we keep ours. :) The kids really enjoyed participating in the ceremony and I think it helped to solidify the fact that we officially became a family on that day -- it wasn't just my husband and I getting married, it was my son & stepdaughter each gaining a sibling and a step-parent as well.

I am doing this for my wedding and involving my children as well. I think it's great and when the wedding is all over with the vase of sand will sit on the fireplace mantel!
