the house is elegant and appears very livable(assuming i have the money) but aside from mosquitos which is resoved by the mosquito nets, don't the lights at night attract other kinds of insects that may cause problems.

Some of the people who gave comments are clueless. Many Indonesian houses in Bali does not have walls. They use mosquito nets when they sleep (check out the bed style, it has mosquito nets).

@AnimeWorld134 Looks like no need to worry about privacy, robbers, etc... My only concerns would be Pests and storms. For storms I would immagine a safe-area with walls would work wonders, maybe downstairs. If anyone came close enough to worry about privacy they would be within shooting range.

Very cool, I bet they have mosquito nets as they must be aware of the threat of malaria as well as roofs to prevent rain damage. The trees around would naturally reduce the amount of wind without walls though. Good example of using nature's inherent abilities. Awesome!
