I was taken bong shopping for x mas and thought fuck it, I have enough bongs I'll pick up a novelty pipe just for fun and I actually prefer it to all the expensive pipes my girlfriend has. SOme one was saying on another video that they're cheaply made, fall apart, blah blah. I don't know what kind of glass or the mechanics behind it, all I know is it's already been dropped on rock on 3 seperate occasions and still smokes best of my pipes.

Even if you got an exact replica of the exact one I have it doesn't mean your bowls hole won't be bigger or smaller than mine. Even if only by a small fraction it could mean the difference between weather or not you would use a screen. Personally I always use screens on pipes because I don't like even the tiniest bit of ash/res/weed going back into my throat and mine does have a rather large hole to begin with
