  • You don't see near as many 58's as you do 57 or 59's. I still think they're all great.

  • to remove the lift shudder as it leaves rear guides . (disconext top lift cable at motor turn either forward or back to make it line up with opposite side prolly 3 rotations will do . grease top guides while your there. i let go of top switch and let it glide to the pinsthen hit swithch again to plop it in trunk. /nice car.

  • LOL. Its nice and heavy - translation - it gets 10-15mpg. I've got a car that's nice and quiet - translation - it won't crank at all.

  • I LOVE it I even have a metal Diecast model of it!

  • Thanks for the post! When I was a kid, my parents had a 57 Skyliner and then later a 58 and then my dad ordered a new 59! I wish I had anyone of them now! One of these are on my bucket list! Thanks again!

  • nice!

one of my friends had a red/white 58 fourdoor sedan

  • Thats the best year for the Skyliner 1958....

  • Then why are 1957's worth more ? ( I have a 57 )

  • some people like the 58`s cause of the quad headlights but honestly I would take a 57 over a 58 but to be honest personally I am not fond of any of the ford body styles between 57 and 59. 56 is the last one I liked and I like it more than the 55 cause the round turn signals up front look out of place.

  • the 57 sky was my first car in 1977 . i'll take a code F 57 . the one bobby darin drove in his movie will do..

  • This car won many awards. You should toot that horn a little.
