so sick of people wishing artists stayed exactly the same as they were 20 years ago.....it's called reinvention. mariah's still as talented just has a different style, no music sounds like this anymore...what is she gonna do....just listen to the song and reminisce, don't wish she was still like this it's impossible

@banana327...personally I don't care if an artist changes as long as the music is still good and Mariah's new music isn't even comparable to her old stuff. Down to her voice.

Part of the reason is her newer songs aren't as demanding on her voice (writing wise) as her old songs but saying "nobody's making music like this anymore" is no excuse because her music was still top notch until the Emancipation of Mimi (her last really good album imo).
