The narrator is none other than Fred Foy (who was one of ABC's veteran announcers at the time and worked on radio's "LONE RANGER"), who recorded a lot of these MGM "featurettes". At the same time, MGM reedited a number of "UNCLE" episodes as theatrical features, and I suspect "Italy's In Season" was shown in tandem with one of them.
It's very 60s, huh? I remember thinking how idyllic and relaxed it seemed compared to today's travel shows. I wish we had more scenes with the MfU actors though!

I love 1960's spy movies, TV shows and movie reels. What I really like about this MGM film is the background music played in the movie.
It's the same that was used in the Spider-Man (1967-1970) cartoon. It really reflects the 1960's!
