@Acoustomatic Know what you mean! noticed your play list sig, great to see another Whirly-Y-Gig fan! One night at the Whirl-Y-Gig stands out I think it was 1992, we were waiting for a taxi home, and not exactly with it :) a lady sat down beside us with a violin, it was utterly surreal she asked us is if we wanted a two or a four beat! I shall never forget it, an amazing experience, so many people from all walks of life getting on with each other.
aww this brings back some great memories. Lol I bet my neighbours used to hate me coming home after a night out clubbing and whacking this on at 4am. Thanks for posting :)
Sunday Morning COME-DOWN anthem, Sun shining , neighbours looking more normal than ever, and this BLASTING out of the little blue mini on the hill * you know who you are*
Centre force, doves, illegal warehouses raves and the need to dance all weekend, rest then go back and do it all again....
i used to play this ( speakers on full blast )on the balcony of my 9th floor flat when i was a tad younger ( normaly around 6 am on a sunday mornin after an allnighter ( bet the neighbours loved me) although the version i had had vocals on it...can anyone point in the right direction ??
I honestly love this song, as it's so wild and energizing. Strange, tribal voices in the background sound really intriguing and also contribute to a fantastic vibrant effect. On the lookout for hidden, primeval instincts? Why not? :D
@YukiNekoPrincess Balearic is a place and an early, as it turned out, genre of music. it meant chill out music with soul that still had a house music touch to it. Voices of Africa is just the name of an artist (Severo Lombardoni). i guess you DID truly had to be there...
Really estella?? From the us? First if all there are a lot of arrogant people in many countries not only the USA. Americans are just very patriotic because we live in the greatest nation on the planet:p
@arthurlgoodman The track obviously doesn't mean as much to you as it does to me. I assume you're from the US? This tune was huge to a bunch of people in the UK at a fantastic, life changing time. Peace.
@148estella And I am led to believe that you believe all Americans are ignorant and stupid. That we look down upon other countries and there culture, correct? Probably. The majority of U.S. citizens do not look down upon other countries, we are just very patriotic and have strong opinions about others, as do other people. As you have just proven my point before I even thought of it, you made an assumption and looked down upon the average U.S. citizen and that they are all stupid and arrogant
@DaTaFiEnD7 You've got the wrong end of the stick old chap. What I meant is that the tune had relevance in the UK (where I'm from), possibly not in the US. I checked the profile of the guy who commented originally and saw him to be from the US. I think you're misinterpretation makes you look a little silly but certainly not stupid or arrogant. The lesson here is 'assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups'. As I said before: PEACE.
Hard to say which mix of this is better, but i still say the vocal one,i never found out who sang it tho.Reminds me of sunny summers and cozy comedowns in stress free times. Tam Tam had more top tunes than you could spin.Fantasy FM london tune this...classic

@YukiNekoPrincess Got hammered on the Balearic island of Ibiza back in 1990 mate, hence why it's reffered to as a 'classic Balearic piano track'.
