This is why Rachmaninov is THE greatest composer of all time! This, along with his Piano Concerto #2 are the best pieces of music ever. A truly blessed person...I can sit down and hear this everyday and anytime I hear it, I feel that I'm in heaven..so beautiful...

I love this music so much, from the Rhapsody. As Chris said in the movie this was one of Rachmaninov's most cimplicated pieces of work. And this movie is one of my faovorite love stories of all time, next to the recent Lake House. With Keanu Reeves. Notice they are both about traveling through time.

This "song " is the Variation XVIII Andante cantabile from The Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini for piano and orchestra composed by Sergei Rachmaninoff.The Rhapsody consists of a theme and 24 variations.

Somewhere in Time is the name of the film based on the book Bid Time Return. Yeah this music was used in that film. Also John Barry wrote some beautiful original music for the film. Check it.
