@Doobie1975 I see what you're saying about the signal lights but the pictures I've seen of 71's have a different grille than mine.. what I "do" know is , I really dont care what year it is!! haha.. its just a hoot to drive and thats really all I care about.. lol
@Doobie1975 well.. I dont know about "nice" but I'm with you.. I wish they still made cars like that. I grew up in the 60s when cars were getting bigger and wearing more chrome every year! even when I was 10 or 11 years old, I could tell you the make, model and year of almost every car we met on the road.. now.. they all look pretty much the same to me.. thanks for checking out my videos'.. I appreciate it!
@1963impala2dr Cars back in those days were really easy to tell apart unlike now, I loved how the cars kept on getting bigger as they progressed along with the engines getting more and more powerful up until when they've started putting the Emission Control devices and the Smog Equipment on the cars starting with the 1973 model years
I think you should jack it up, put some mag wheels on it or some truck" wagon" wheels and big tires on it, tie a kayak on top of it, and bolt a spare tire to the rear door and call it the original SUV. Truly a sport and "UTILITY" vehicle, LOL
Yep, thats gotta be a 1971 or 72. The 70 looked different. Check the title with the vin #. I bought a 73 wrecker and later discovered my title didn't match my vin# and I found that the original wrecker service that bought it new bought 3 of them at the same time and handed me the title to one of the other trucks. Similar may explain why this car has a 1970 title, or else you are the only person with a stolen hearse??? LOL I wouldn't want to ride in a HOT hearse....
@restodan haha.. naw.. its not hot.. talked to the guy, said they had to apply for lost title so something got mixed up during the process.. someone miskeyed.. or ? who knows.. I really dont care haha.. I'm just gonna have some fun with it then slap that engine in something else down the road.... maybe that 51 2 dr nash.. havent decided yet
@hearsemonkey i see what you are saying.. looks like all the pictures I see of a 72.. but, the tittle says 70 and the registration says 70 and the old man who bought it new says 70.. pretty wierd
very cool body by superior? Always wanted one myself some loud pipes and a bigger cam would make fo a fun ride. Have fun with it. I think it would look real cool flat black or satin
Can you say camper ? that thing's so big,it would sleep 4 people .!! and if you make bunkbeds ,maybe more !! I think I would make a pickem-up truck out of it !! you could haul anything in it then ! cool!
that car is awesome. if i were you, i would preserve it as is. just repaint the outside and leave the interior factory. mabey buy a casket for the back and take it for sunday drives. that 472 might put you in the poorhouse due to the fuel lol
You should find a recording of Fred Eaglesmith's "That's a Mighty Big Car" to go along with that thing.. hahahahahaha.. Man, that would make a nice camper.. In fact, if I had that me and Baby could put a big bed in the back and drive it to the North West.. hahahaha..
@rpeek haha, I'll look for that song.. can you imagine what it would cost for gas to drive this 4,000 mi from your state to mine! I reckon she might get 8 mpg
give it a nice black paint job it will look good

Since I believe it's a 1971 Caddy the 472ci engine only had 340hp since it was a lower compression engine

@1963impala2dr pipes out the hood like the cheviac at davidsfarm that would be cool and it would sound even more awsome!!!
