The Mayans never predicted the end of the world. Their largest stone calendar simply ended its cycle on December 21, 2012. Why December 21st? It's the Winter Solstice. The solar cycle would simply start over. It's no different than starting over with a new wall calender on January 1st after December 31st. Their are problems with that, first of all the supposed "Area" on google sky is not the only one blacked out, there are several other area's that have been blacked out, due to faults in the programming and other sky programs have the same problem.

At this point, if it were to appear within two-three years it'd be seeable in the night sky by now, I think people need to use real telescopes instead of fauly programs, to try and find it, but likely won't because it doesn't exist.

When ever i see video's of twenty twelve, i always think of aliens, you believe them or you don't, and some people take the littlest things that they never noticed before and think that that is something that will have an impact on humans, the earth, space, etc, but in truth it really doesn't mean a thing. i know, what's sadder is that because NASA has finally chosen to take a stand, this has caused a reaction from those who believe in 2012 to come forth and proclaim that NASA is lieing to us and deceiving us, yet i believe thier scared because they know their being exposed but refuse to accept it.
