not that fast as I doubt a double scull does more than about 10 or 12 kts although i expect at the start Consuta was going faster to catch them up - I think she has done 22 knots if I recall? may be the wide angle lens makes it look faster?

Steam engines are awesome. Gas and Diesl engines are faster but you cant beat the class and style of a steam engine.
