Might be because in Greece (and elsewhere in the Mediterranean) you're more used to it over there and get those kind of temperatures more constistently than us in the UK. Our average in London is about 22-25 C so anything higher than that is regarded as very warm or hot.

it came to 32 in london that week they were 1 degree off in the long range forcast lol it has once been 38 in london

Its called the jet stream it went unexpectingly south but in a few days it may finaly go back north so we may see some more warm weather.
