  • so im in the military and if i did pushups like that, instead of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, they would says 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1 over and over again until i touch the ground with my chest and came all the way back up enough to straighten my arms then i would reach 2..

  • I was doing 40 push ups then a few 10's [Push Ups] and then i released what's the point i can do 10 push ups 10 different 10 times 10 seconds apart. :)

  • I find push up claps are easyer then the ultra 10 push ups at 6:00 .

  • oh... and let me say: this cat's WAY stronger than me, but in the constructive criticism department, he's got to take the dive bomber pushup back the way it came: "down" is head to chest to balls; "up" is balls to chest to head. that makes it 100x harder. :) happy sweating.

  • You're beast, bro. nice workout. started doing it.. couple little variations i do, though:

    1 - i don't do the fists; i sub in spider-mans - it adds another core pushup to your walk-outs, leg-ups and the dive-bombers. I never really worked fists... that's always been more of a martial arts thing..

    2 - i switch up the order on "weaker days." (lol.. you know what i'm talking about) there's NO WAY i can pull off a set of 10 dive bomber pushups in the number 9 slot, man. lol

  • Close push-push are a little more advanced. You have to strengthen your regular push-ups to actually perform better for them.

  • i wanna thank this man soooo much, i workout every other day since it's wiser so ur muscles can recover and get bigger and i do 2 set's of the ultra plan so basically 200 push ups, and my arms and chest are getting bigger! :D :D :D

  • Actually tried this with the video just a few hours ago because my friend that I train in MMA with told me it works and sent me the link. And Jesus Christ I made it through the whole thing and did all 100 push ups :D It's pretty intense but not as hard as I thought it'd be. Definitely something I'm gonna add to my workout routine though lol.

  • For those who can't do 10x10, I suggest to start out with let's say 6x10 (so you do 6 repetitions in the 10 variations) and then just scale up untill you feel comfortable with 10x10.

  • Good routine, but be sure to fully extend between reps. You lose out on precious time under stress if you don't.

  • i believe in bodyweight exercise to build strength; this is a very good upper -body workout, tried it yesterday doing only 5 push-up x type, doing again today doing 8 and in a couple of sessions will do the 10s. thanks for sharing

  • very hard job buddy and i found most hard 1.40 SECOND, but in the end it was nice and healthy!

  • Just a little advise, if you're doing it for the first time only do 10 sets of 5, as apposed to 10 sets of 10. I did 10 sets of 10 after not working out for a while, and I've been sore for over a week

  • Great routine to practice core training and even elasticity, I suggest trying it at least 2 or 3 times daily, even comfortable doing them before taking a shower

  • This is very good for your chest, but won't build biceps. Biceps are built with a pulling action. You don't want to do JUST this for your arms, or they will grow out of proportion. This exercise stacked with a good back/bicep workout will do wonders.

  • 4 days strong at this. I do it twice a day eat 5 eggs in the am peanutt butter sanwhich for lunch and chiken/fish supper then another work out before bed. On the crawlere I do 2 push ups per crawl. I'm trying to get a little weight but be really tone. with my 10 second breaks I work on abs. Thanks for this video I will keep you posted. How big can I get by doing my routine u think?

  • This is an awesome routine. When it gets to easy after a while, try doing the routine while wearing a weighted vest and gradually increase the weight. It's killer!

  • ive been doing this everyday for a month since ive seen this video. its been added to my boxing/running workout. either i tire my arms out with these and THEN box or i switch it up and tire my arms out with boxing and then do these. sometimes i do them backwords so my arms dont get to used to it. im working on "ultra 15's" now. thanks for the vid. future U.S. ARMY RANGER. i needed this. regular pushups get boring after 60.

  • for me it wasnt hard because at thai boxing we do every training 150-250 push upsbut when i remember as i tried first time push ups i gave up at 10-15 too nice video for beginners so when it become easy for u than do at every exercise maybe 5 push ups more and so on.

  • @jigovani Why not do it everyday, if you can do this consequently. Watch out for sore muscles. Don't over exercise. I would try doing them everyday, if you want to see some quick results. Or at least 5x a week

  • Great training excersice, i would recomment if you got the hand of 100 then do the 1 feet up push up both in sets of 10, don't know why he doesn't. I hate the knuckle pushups.. think the diamonds and the punches are the best and thoughest if you perform correctly.

    If you can't make 100 just keep trying, i started with 60 because of my asthma, and easily manage to do the 110 in 2 weeks, twice a day now..

    Would you say this excersise is better than doing 60 military pushups at one (no breaks) am trying to advance in doing 100 pushups at once. Any advice?

  • @Selboriginal1 Think this is harder. The 10 second relax is much better for your muscles to get some o^2. And that's why you need the breaks, else you could just do these 100 pushups without a pauze.. If you've done them for over some time..

  • I do them in reverse (start with the toughest first) as I am strongest at the start so I tackle the hardest first. And as I get weaker throughout the workout, I find that it's better to do the easier push ups so that at least I complete the full 100 instead of not being able to go beyond 60 or 70...

  • @Maddened a good idea if you just want the fitness/muscles tho doing the hardest last applies mental strength and perseverance, as obviously your muscles can do it its just harder to do -more the martial artists way
