Thank you!! I am not mechanically inclined and was worried I would be buying a new iPod. But your video was clear and simple to follow and I am charging my new iPod battery inside my OLD iPod as I write this. Thank you!!!
Dude, this was a perfect explanation and very easy to follow. I followd step bny step, paused it and replaced my battery in less than 15 minutes!!!! Also, thanks for not adding any incredibly annoying obscure background music to it!!!!!!!!!!!
The battery on my mini has been running out really fast; and I know it will die soon, but i dont want a new ipod! I love my vintage mini too much! This video gave me a sense of hope
Brill, thanks so much, wish I had known you could this before I sold my old mini for spares on ebay, what a fool I was. Now have my 2nd mini up and working like new! Aint the internet great!!!
i have a problem with an old ipod mini, tht i have and i need ur help. pls contact me to my email for further exmplination. francozam1989@gmail.com....thank you for you time.
How much is the battery? and how do I know what generation I have? :( It has been a long time and I have gone throug many Ipod's because of problems like these, if I knew then what I know now I would not have thrown them away and bought new ones, but just replaced the battery. Is it cheaper if I bought new ones. I have the following IPod's that have this problem.
Very well executed tutorial. I have had the iPod Mini since 2004 and this is the first time I've had to change the battery .... Thank you T H -UK 2010
My ipod's battery died a long time ago and i tried to fix it (like four years ago). I took off the plastic top and tried to pull out the components but i tugged too hard and a piece was still connected, so i ended up ripping the pieces inside in half. It looked exactly like this one.
TY, I followed your instructions and was able to replace by iPod battery while I was eating my breakfast! Fast and easy. Afterward, my iPod turned right back on without missing a beat.
question i have the ipod nano and everything is fine except..now i do not have the luxury of moving the arrows to go to a next song..and if i want to i have to play with the hold button..and or put it in a certain spot in order for it to play..i dont know what happen
Very Good, I would try it, Don't have nothing to lose... But I didn't understand the blow dryer part before and after. Can anyone help me out with this? :)
I gotta say, you've got guts. post something about the 2nd gen Ipod nano on how to replace the batteries in that one. Allow me to rant though, why does it have to be so darn difficult to do this. On older ones you could just pop the shiny back off, replace the batteries and be done with it.
u guys r idiots! the batteries for ANY ipod can be found brand new for less than $35 u just have to kno where to shop and know where are the reliable places to trust.
I replaced the battery and when i connect it to iTunes it charges for a few minutes and then goes to the "folder" error logo.... HELP!!! :( :(
