  • Very nice engine and a fine restoration. It is good to see it running. I hope to come and see this engine. I also am restoring a Brown with a 15 inch bore and 12 foot flywheel in Mentor, Ohio. Thanks for posting, Jeff Klein

  • Thanks,  I'd be interested in seeing photos of your Brown restoration project. You can email me at the CT Antique Machinery Association website. There is another C.H. Brown engine in Eastern CT (Norwich). It is an impressive twin cylinder, twin 24 foot flywheel that is in a old mill since converted into condos.
