True that 'Clockwork Orange' seems to be THE influence for this ad, like the one for Levis with 'Barry Lyndon' soundtrack (correct if i'm wrong)

It was very much lead by the ad agency rather than him. The music and clown though - thats pure Glazer as an ode to Kubrick.
