I recently bought a salter digital scale which measures weight, bmi and body fat. I was not so pleased to find out my old analogue scale was just over 4 pounds out giving me the wrong reading for almost a year but it gave me the motivation to keep trying to lose the weight although incorrect.

Actually I think you think "you're gay," not "your gay." "You're" is a contraction of "you are" and "your" is a possessive pronoun. "Your gay" isn't a complete sentence.
