Good work on your tutorials. Is there no rendering until a file is created under SHARE? If you create a file and then make a small change does the whole video have to be re-rendered? Just wondering how rendering compares to Pinnacle - since it lets you render while you edit - if your PC has the power this saves time.
@jrossvideo You can always save your video, at any time, as a Project File (.VSP file). Choose Save As under the FILE menu and save your video as a Project File. You can open your Project File anytime and continue editing and Save it again. You can do this as many times as you like. But remember .VSP files are NOT video files - you cannot upload .VSP files to YT. To make a video file you have to go to SHARE and save your video in one of the many available formats- MPEG, WMV, FLV, etc. -- Shoban
I appreciated your videos very much, thank you. I was wondering if there was a way edit out small mistakes from your videos such as camera shakes and things like that. Movie maker lets you click on the timeline at the beginning of a mistake and then click on the timeline again at the end of your mistake and then you simply delete that portion. Its very handy but movie maker is not as good as corel.
Thanks for your compliments. I have no plans to do any tutorials for X3. It works the same way as X2 does. It only gives you a few additional options in video filters, transition effects, etc.
BTW, all the video tutorials+written text+screenshots+new topics on editing with Corel are available in my website "Home Movie Making Tutorials for Beginners". You will find the link in the description of my video tutorials. The site is also expanding rapidly.
Thank you very much! I just watched all the tutorials, although I didn't comment on each. I'll have to go back to make sure I give you five stars for each, though. I'm particularly grateful to know what it means to enable ripple editing. I didn't understand until I saw your explanation, but I wasted a lot of time in three years on windows movie maker having to readjust audio tracks and titles.
You're very kind to make these tutorials. This has been a big help!
At present the web site has the same 9 video tutorials AND 3 videos showing what you can do to your videos using Corel. BUT, I am adding more written information that I missed to mention in the video tutorials. There are and will be more screen shots. I have just started to expand that web site. In a few weeks the web site will change dramatically, I hope. Give me a little time, and thanks for your interest.
I replied previously how useful your videos were to me.I am still running into a problem trying to take 2 or 3 pieces out of a clip to use. I would very much appreciate if you could give me a reference or an explanation of how that can be done.
