@fueledbymusic3 Thats correct, the beams/dots are only red, green, or blue. If you want more colors the American DJ Vertigo is similar and offers more colors. I chose the Chauvet Mushroom for the DMX possibilities which the Vertigo doesn't have.
@beansOfJelly I ended up getting the ADJ mushroom. Its the same price and similar as the Chauvet, The ADJ (american DJ) one does have more colors BUT there is no DMX and no "auto" mode of any kind. The only way it works is when it "hears" music. I dont know about the chauvet one. I chose the ADJ cause it has the "extra" colors
@fueledbymusic3 Well....I got my two mushrooms today...be very glad you went with ADJ!! I'm so pissed...the one works fine, but if you shake it a bit, it has a lot of loose junk in there...the second one (got a pair) has a bent bracket, the blue LED doesn't work, and it gets stuck at one position (no strobing, flashing) just shifting left to right between red and green!!! VERY UNSATISFIED!! :(
@beansOfJelly Sorry to hear about the problem with the light. You know, I seem to have had a little issue with 2 of the chauvet products I ordered. A led DJ bank, one of the 4 lights in the bank did not work properly, and one par can, the sound active mode doesnt work. Makes me a little wary about the brand
@fueledbymusic3 My older Chauvet lights were awesome, sturdy built and EXCELLENT quality (as expected from Chauvet) but now I begin to consider other brands! Don't know how they went from top range to this!
@katieducky23 Its pretty close to being in a corner in the video, but if it was further back you would see the beams hitting the walls a little nearer to the unit. Oh and good to see another b2lighting fan! :)
@alinbenz I would try contacting the dealer if possible. Most authorized dealers will take care of you. Keep trying Customer Support...its possible they might be hard to reach over a holiday weekend, but I'd keep trying.
@haweshockey It strobes as part of its pattern...which you don't even really get much/any control of with DMX. Anyone who has used this light more extensively with DMX feel free to answer about the strobing if I'm missing something. If there is ever a LED Mushroom 2 I would suggest adding a strobe on/off switch and dmx function.
@dapaisa69 If you cannot get the light to move even after adjusting the sensitivity and/or directly tapping on the microphone I would guess you have a stuck or even a defective motor. Contact your place of purchase or Chauvet technical support and see about getting a replacement.
@iTzMiCHA3L You should be able to get away with a low setting if the volume is up and it is directly clamped to your speaker stand, I would say start at 25%.

@Djcris96 They are really just for DMX. To be honest there isn't much variation of style to be had. I think the most useful feature you would gain with DMX would be the ability to remotely activate/deactivate the light.

@ericcartman623 Both are great lights, the main differences I see are that the Mushroom supports DMX control and the Vertigo offers more colors.
