  • Looks like these students want to violate property rights and use the government to steal from others to fund their education. These students are interested in taking other peoples wealth by force if necessary and give nothing in return. Theft is alive and well in Chile. Protection of property is not repression.

  • @lowertaxes123 interesting point of view...I'd like to know where r u from.....well, if u r not from Chile......this might look aggressive n violent.....but I am a teacher myself, born here in this country...n I can assure u......education here sucks!!!......

    unless of course u can afford a private education, it's really difficult to get a chance, for example to get to the university..........

    Students now, have exploded in manifestations, riots, strikes, takeovers n so on, because...

  • @demonshyre Pennsylvania, USA. I agree that there is a need for more competition among schools and increase use of alternative methods like using computers. But, it troubles me to see Chile move towards more government control and higher taxes.
