I am a new Renthead--my son had the honor of playing Mark in his HS production of RENT--OMG so awesome--my son even looks like a young Anthony Rapp and now has a college scholarship for theater based on his performance in RENT. Now he is in the chorus of a summer production of HS Musical 2 at the children's theater. RENT is awesome.

well they all are little diffirent I found out. But this is basically from both but just a little bit diffirent.

@fun4everyonebutyou its the final Broadway production, the movie doesnt have the answering machine bits i don't think...havent managed to find a version that isn't german on the net :P

@zog9 no this isn't the final Broadway production. The final Broadway production was filmed(one more reason Rent is beter than other musicals.) and Mark's mom sounded different, not quite as high pitched. Plus none of the actors who played in the final production of Rent were the original Broadway cast(or movie cast). It is the Broadway soundtrack, but not the final Broadway soundtrack.

@JKrowlingrockx It doesn't sound like the original Broadway Soundtrack CD-set, either. It's definitely the Original Broadway Cast's voices, though. It's weird, I'm not sure WHAT this is, but it's absolutely epic. The person who posted this has my <3 forever.
