  • Love this game!

    like 8 years ago though

SOMEONE FRIKEN STOLE THIS GAME AT THE PARTY AT MY HOUSE!!

Errrg....i wanna punch that kid who stole my MEGAMAN!!!

    [True story]

  • @billyle419 im not knocking this game or anything, but didnt you have any better games that were more worth stealing? lol

  • @Ghouse666 Well they took a few more xD but Megaman 64 was probaly the best one they stole but the best game i had was Zelda OOT/MM

  • 5/5

  • ps1 version is better

  • I love it, but it's a mixed bag. MML2 addressed and fixed all the problems, (It's a vast improvement) but unfortunately introduced some new ones for some odd reason. Don't worry though, I'm sure MML3 will...

    -Oh right, I forgot. -_-

  • What's the music at around 4:32?

  • this is my favorite megaman game. this shit blew my mind when i rented this back when it came out. i finished it twice since then.... with ocarina of time and pokemon being the only games i "beat" more :o

  • this game is so hard

  • looks gay

  • @giveallamacrack It's a great game. Give it a shot.

  • I had the PS1 version when I was a little kid, and I played the hell out of it. I don't really see a difference between N64 and the PS1, is just that the PS1 had better quality in sound effects and voices. And if I remember correctly, there was a quick turning (triangle I think) and a lock on system that was really helpful.

Remember, a different title in the same franchise does make a difference.

  • MM64 and MM Legends are the same game, just one is for N64 and one is for PS1, right?

  • @NegaPlayer45 There might be some differences but I'm not too sure what they are.

  • @cjszero01 Okay, thanks, I'll look into it more. The reason I asked is because I have an N64, and a PS2 (Which obvioulsy can play PS1 games) but I'd prefer to get it for N64, just because of reasons that I don't feel like getting into, but I want to see if there are any reasons to get one over the other, based on gameplay, not controls or anything.

  • @cjszero01 n64 version upfrades graphics

  • @NegaPlayer45 yes the n64 one has slightly better framerate, slightly.

  • @portalsofmadnes Okay, thanks a bunch.

  • @NegaPlayer45 The N64 has a better framerate but is much more jaggy, has horrible audio quality and the controls are sooo clunky.

  • @NegaPlayer45

I played the PSX version and loved it. I'm pretty sure it's the same game

  • 3:30 uh am i the only person who thinks it's creepy that he barges into her room during a private moment and he acts like he accomplished a mission? Roll is supposed to be Megaman's/Hippopotamus's sister.

  • This was the game that got me into loving the Mega Man series, but then they came out with that Battle Network bullshit. This game is very underrated as many many MANY people say that it's the worst Mega Man game made, but to me, the worst one ever made was those battle network games on the GBA. Those games were complete garbage and turned Mega Man into a card game.

  • first came megaman 1 then 2 and all the way up to.... 64!?!?!?!

  • what did megaman saw at roll?

  • tthis game looks like a piece of s***

Im glad nintendo is bringing back the classics

  • @Titan68221 that does not make any sense dood

  • The PS1 version is way better, has higher quality audio and more music, and even a sequel, the draw distance (how close the fog is) is also much better.

  • This game was one of my personal favorites in the N64 when I was a kid, and I'd probably play it again if I could. I loved the story and the characters. Sure the voice audio was terrible but the gaming experience was magnificent. I'd give it a 5/5 imo.

You know its a good game when you want more. And guess what, I wanted more. :)

  • is the ps1 (legends) better then the n64?? cuz i want to buy this game but i dont really know what should i choose.

  • @VAST56 I haven't played the ps1 version so I can't answer that.

  • @cjszero01 Its exactly the same.

  • @VAST56 I know this is bit late, but the PS1 version is MUCH better. The N64 version is a poorly made port that has bad controls, bad audio, and less impressive graphics.

  • Now I have a hard question to answer. I loved this game and the 3rd is coming out after leaving us with a LONG LONG LONG cliff hanger. Problem it's on the 3DS and do I really want to buy that to play it?

  • @XistTheparasite Well... aren't there other games your looking forward too so it makes the purchase a little easier to consider?

  • @XistTheparasite apparently cancelled that game D: i was really looking forward to that game.... that and ocarina of time are the only games i really want for this system =/

  • the sound quality of the voices is realy bad

  • Megaman Legends 2 is better!

  • the ps1 version is better

  • Looks promising. Maybe I'll pick it up.

  • @OniWoIf If you can find it cheap then yeah definitely go for it.

  • @cjszero01 actually... the game aint half bad... at least he LOOKS like a megaman...

plus battle network also strayed away from theseries and it was awesome.

  • megaman 64 was my favorite megaman lol and one of my top 5 favorite N64 games,

  • @squall09sparks I'm kind of hoping they'll remake this and the 2nd one for the 3DS since they're making legends 3 for the 3DS.

  • @cjszero01 That piece is Fugue in G Minor "The Little" by Bach.

  • I liked kicking dogs in this game.

  • ps1 has better frame rate and sound.

  • 3:47 MISSION COMPLETE!

  • I heard the PS1 version was better.

  • wow, this game brings back such good memories, i especially like how it brought some freshness in the series. i mean i love megaman but a lot of the games really are just rehashed versions of their predecessors , and this one was all its own. i like your review because it kinda showed me why we're barely getting a third installment though

  • @brongladest At least they're making the third one for the 3DS. :)

  • great review and great video and audio quality. Yeah this game has major flaws but I love it so much. You did a great job implementing cut scenes and adding your own funny flavor to it. Thumbs up dude

  • @whit52489 Thank you. :)

  • poor mega man, walkin in on roll like that. :)

  • Ya could have at least not have used the buster max. I mean thats totally not cheating.

  • I played this game recently, and I agree that 3/5 is an accurate score for it. Once I really got into the game, I loved it, but the game is kinda hard to get into because of the awkward controls and a lack of cool weapons near the beginning of the game... but once you get the active buster, it's awesome.

  • I finally got a chance to play this game but i only played this game on the Emulator know as Project 64. I was also able to play Diddy kong racing, Bomberman 64 and Mario party 3. anyways I liked this game. serching for parts to make items was fun. but getting Zenny is not fun. cause the only way i was able to get money was playing the games from the Radio station. but i liked this game.

  • legends 1 and 2 are some of my favorite megaman games.

  • i loved that game! D:

and the part when he sees roll naked its hilarious

i like this one more than the others :/

  • Aw, man, listen to how cheerful Roll sounds when Megaman sees her naked. jeez

  • @uglyworm12 bow chicka waw waw

  • @uglyworm12 bow chicka waw waw

  • being the hardcore megaman fan that i am i feel i want to try this game, despite all the bad reviews i've seen

  • And you should, it's not that bad it's got some stuff going for it, just don't approach it like the Megaman or X series.

  • I really liked the game when I played it, but that was a long time ago, I think you should give it a try.

  • The song was Little fuge in g minor by bach

  • Aw man, he saw his sister naked, that's so sick.

  • In this series that's not his sister, more like his lifelong friend that he's thought of as a sister.

  • Gawd, Megaman Legends is better than this shit.

  • @GohanMaster2112 Uhhh its the same game

  • what's even worse is he rose up his arm like an accomplishment well to my opinion

  • Yeah I noticed that too, have some respect Megaman, the boy seems to be going into girls dressing rooms as a running gag such as Battle Network and Starforce. It's a pretty messed up running gag if you ask me.

  • Yah, but this game did suck.

  • I don't know, I thought it was fucking awesome. One of my favorite games as a kid.

  • i don't know i dident like it but i dident hate it sorta in between i was playing alot of megaman x befor this game came out so that could be it

  • Personally, this is one of my favorite Mega Man games.

  • That's cool.

  • I don't see why some people hate this game

  • That's what I said.

  • were you the one that was playing this?

if so, how do you get all your attacks up to max?

  • Yes, but those parts with maximum were from the easy file after beating the medium or hard file I think, I just played that file to help me get the footage I needed faster.

  • Wow, you made the game sound like it sucked complete dick up the butt for not rehashing the same gameplay from the other games.

  • It doesn't, but the controls could've been better.

  • I'll agree that it wasn't perfect, but it wasn't terrible.

  • Agreed.

  • The ending for this review is clever.

  • I usually like to come up with a good ending if one presents itself to me.

  • 1:56

I used to be scared of those things when i was little. lol, its cause they can see you from so far away and run faster than you. Now, however, i just continually shoot at them so they keep falling backwards. lol

  • Yeah personalities but shitty voice acting at the same time.

  • best megaman game of all time

  • @Jerodrik No...Just no...

  • @Jerodrik No...Just no...

  • mega man 64 was one of the best damn games in its time, and all the other megaman games had a story

  • They had a story but it wasn't as heavy as this one, nor story driven. I like it but it had so many changes that it felt weird, and the level design felt the same.

  • but this was a good game nontheless

  • If nothing else, the 3D and controls of this game are far superior to that of Megaman X7. Which is easily one of the shittiest Megaman titles ever, as well as one of the worst games ever.

  • The audio is the Playstation version is far superior, this sounds like it was pre-recorded and compressed. Hence why it sounds so garbled. Legends is a great series, even Misadventures of Tron Bonne.

  • I wished I played it on the PS1, I wish I played the second one on the PS1.

  • i hope it will come out for VC
