  • Hey, I've been thinking about going natural and styling my hair in twists myself but my hair is trained to be pressed. I was wondering if converting the hair to twist would still work out or would I have to chop off all of my hair? And also I wanted to know how long do your twist last?

  • Gorgeous :-)

    -Rochelle.

  • Hey, I have a question. How do you section/part the hair you forget to explain...

  • Your hair is so beautiful. Almost a year since my last perm. You inspire me to keep it natural. Thank you.

  • msbrice your hair is gorgeous.

  • j'm bien ta video !!! tu fais très bien les twists

  • Hott beats !!

  • i wanna make it like da pic in 0:53

  • you are so gorgeous and your twistout is beautiful

  • Did it work ! lol

  • lol the song

  • nice pics :D would this style work for ppl that are transitioning? I've been transitioning for 7 months and most of my hair is natural.

  • anyone can do twists, but from personal experience i can say that when you untwist them, the two textures won't look all that great because the relaxed hair will look "stringy." i suggest wearing a head band or scarf to cover a good portion of the natural part so it won't look as conflicting. you can minimize the difference by doing dry twists - blow drying your hair first.

  • your makeup is always sooo prety i love it

  • Love this video. I've been natural 18 months now and it inspires me to keep going.

  • i love your hair style, and it's great that you can do your own hair. i'm growing mine out right now

  • SO pretty:)

  • My hair looks like yours when i take my twists out! Very pretty!

  • Your hair looks great! I love twist outs and is all i wear right now. I liked the pic of you with your twists and the hat on, that looked so nice!

  • Beautiful!

  • I love your hair..I dont know if this question has been asked or not...Can I twist my hair and have the out come look like yours even if i use relaxers???It may be crazy question but i never tried and just curious.

  • love your hair in 0:35... but most of all of your looks i love your hair in the egypt vid!!

  • LOVE this style on you! Who sings this song, and whats the name of it?

  • im sure u found it already but "twisted" by keith sweat and kut klose

  • How did you get yor twists to look like that at the beginning of the video around 48 sec? I just went natural and my hair is not very long but I want to twist into something nice like yours. Thanks

  • Lovely twists. Hair is nice and healthy. Thanks.

  • It's called "twisted" by Keith Sweat

  • -I was in a band with Keith Sweat....

I would get 'twisted' before rehearsals ;-)!

    ...but enuf about me-

...my twists have since turned to dreads, but

I watched the video anywayz to hear that cute little inflection you have in your voice-lol-

...so I was hoping you had such an informative video on dreads, maybe???

    good work!

  • So I was wondering. How twists look on a white person's hair?

  • If your hair is curly then it would have a little spring to it, but if it's straight then it would just look like 2 strand braids (instead of the normal 3 strand braid). Either way, you'd need a rubber band at the ends of each hair twist to keep it from unravelling.

  • Hi MsBrice,

Your hair is so gorgeous and so encouraging! I am transitioning and not quite ready to rock the TWA but I know I have ot get over it.

What did you use to bring out your natural curls? What do you suggest to use to grow hair quickly and what did you do to keep your cute styles up?

Sorry about all the questions but it seems as if you know what to do from the looks of your hair. :-)

    Thnaks a lot!

  • VERY beautiful!!!

  • in 2:26 how do you get your hair like that or those twist or curls?

  • I twisted them really tiny and then did a twist out.

  • if your natural and you want your to wear your hair curly dont you put gel in it to make it curl up or is it more to that? im just starting my naturalness and my fro is small but its not tiny. i just want to make it curl what do i do?

  • once the twist r done can u seperate the two strands of hair? or would u reccomend leaning them the way they r? thk 4 da insight.

  • Yea, I always do a twist out (separate the twists). But usuall after I've had my twists in for a couple of days because twist outs don't stay in as long.

  • I loved the last picture, with it pushed to the side. How do you get that crinkly effect?

  • Great hair! Thanks for posting information for those of us who are growing out our natural hair.

  • you know on 2:31 of ur video--is ur hair in twists or have u jus added something to your hair to make it curly?

  • I must say that I love your hair. I am also natural, and have been for almost 4 years. I love seeing other beautiful women stepping out on faith and going natural. I don't know about some, but for me, having natural hair is SO MUCH EASIER than having a relaxer! keep that beautiful hair girl!

  • I hope my hair looks like that when it grows out more! Great vid!

  • YOUR HAIR IS SO BEAUTIFUL!

  • Thank you.

  • Great video and great song! :o) "You got me twisted over you" HAHA They don't know about that Keith Sweat!

  • nice hair

  • you make that hair look GOOD. Well, except on 2:07 lmao

  • Can't be perfect all the time!

  • Yeah, some people like to experiment with their hair. But remember, some experiments go WRONG! I hope you never go outside like THAT again :P

  • i did go outside with my hair like that. That was a prep style and i was measuring how much my hair had grown.

  • love your hair!

  • Thanks!

  • beautiful your hair is stunning

  • Thanks for the kind words.

  • Thank you!

  • Do you have any tips that might help us keep her hair healthy and beautiful, without resorting to the use of harsh chemicals? I know that in one of your vids you mentioned the baking soda/distilled water washing solution as well as the cider vingegar/honey rinse. Is there anything else that you could recommend?

  • I know you weren't directing your question to me, but you could also use cone-free conditioners such as suave and V05 to wash your daughters hair. It's called a co-wash. You could also use them and mix them with extra virgin olive oil (yep, from the grocery store) for a regular conditioner. :)

  • If you subscribe to my channel, you'll be able to find some tips. I'm always adding new videos!

  • Ms. brice, your hair is gorgeous. My daughter has thicker texture hair. My husband and I don't want to put any chemicals in her hair. It can at times be difficult to manage but seeing your hair is reinforcement that natural is best!

  • Thank you. There are soooo many ways you can style natural hair!

  • oh my goodness.. your hair is beautiful

  • Thanks. I work on it.

  • Yours can be too! (If it isn't already).

  • you look so beautiful with your hair..very nice and inspiring

  • Thanks hon.

  • oh ok (^_^). great video, i began transitioning in October! can't wait to have a full head of natural hair!

  • It's great when you have enough length to starting experimenting!

  • not being rude, but do you have alopecia?

  • no, i was born with that hairline. I have alot of baby hair in the front of my scalp.

  • nice!!!

  • WOW!!! How do you get the twists so shiny???

  • I rinse with Apple Cider Vinegar, water and honey and I twist with shea butter and aloe vera gel

  • Hahah how clever! I love the music! And ur hair!

  • how do you maintain your hair! what is ur regimen for twist!

  • Your hair is beautiful

  • Very Nice !!!

  • Great hair!

  • but how do u sleep with twists on with out having to damage ur hair? please respond.

  • satin pillow case!!

  • I just wear a scarf at night or a night cap and in the morning i fluff it out with my hands. Sometimes I use a glycerine/water spray when the twists are a little drys and several days old

  • absolutely beautiful...Im loving it girl

  • you are so pretty.. your hair is an inspiration
